I dont think it's random at all. Rather on certain day and certain specifed location that the computer randomly select.

If SOS is soo random, then how the **** I picked up more crappy shit like getting arrows all the time?

Sos is random. It's just pure spontaneous luck if you get multiple in a set period of time. You could argue that it's based on character luck ... but thats bullshit .. people win the lottery twice ..

Oh and before ANYONE says it.. like in the last thread about SoX .. Having LUCKY on your items will NOT increase drop rates.

lol ive gotten an som and sos( 2 items) within the a 1hour time period. Not bad, eh?

2nd char: lv 78. 17 sos, 3rd-8th degree, 7 som 4-7th, 1 sun 8th.

char 2 L45 - 12 sox (10 sos, 2 som)

1st char suxors at alchemy, can't get anything to +3 w/o a dozen elix.
2nd char has got the golden touch... lots of 100% stats & +3s in one try.

That whole 'totally random' equation is hard to believe; it's got to include some of that hidden 'lucky' stat. There's no way you can kill 10x the amount of mobs as another char and randomly end up with 5x less sox drops. That's hogwash. I wanna see their equations, cause stuff just doesn't add up.
