Good Combos for STR Blader

Post by Woohoo »

You guys know any good combos to take out INT player quick?

I did this combos and I find it really usefull and quick. You know how Nuker always running to get far away from you so they have time to shoot. Well, first I shoots the Snake Sword, Devil cut, evil cut, by this time, I will get hit by his first nuke, ghost walk or run toward him, knock him down with Blade Force, if that doesnt get him knock down, knock him down with Soul Blade force, usually this will get him. Then going on knock down stabbing spree. They usually kill by this time.

What's your best combos for STR blader in PVP?

Yea, that what I'm thinking too. If he doesnt get kill after my initial attacks. I chain combos, knock down, stab, chain, knock down stabs. If he runs away, shoot him with the snake sword and those devil evil cuts. Then repeat the same thing.

NO chains at all. Just KD+stab and repeat.

Basically dont let them have time to auto-pot. I find that when you knock them down, it gives ur auto-pot time to fill up which is good thing for us, If you keep on knocking them down. Of course, this always depends on your gear defense and your attack damage rating. If you put anything over 1k-3k damage every hit, then your good. But if you only do less than 1k damage per hit, then forget about it. He's way out of your league. Getting anywhere 2-4 hits from him and your dead. INT usually dont have more than 5k HP.

People pot off chains at higher levels. That's why you need only KD and Stab in PvP

i think u guys forget that, as soon as u start doing damage with a chain, that damage is already calculated in his HP.
For an example, sometimes when ppl are PVPing, u see a guy starting a attack and suddenly stop it, when the other one starts a good chain, (big damage) and @ the end he dies. Thats the calculated damage.
So for pure ints, of the same lvl, serious, just KD + 2 stabs and 1 heaven chain, all u need, they ALWAYS die, unless block, or vigors

Well I still don't have my 2nd KD skill, so what I usually will do is KD+stab then billow chain. If he runs, I sometimes use Evil cut blade then soul cut blade. It's almost like using the 3rd book (devil cut) and is actually pretty strong. This technique is best if you have a high crit blade.

Chains are decent in pvp. If you get a critical on a stab or kd then it may be good to try a chain next. Use chains only if you have the skills close to your level though.

Of course chains are weak at high levels when most of the bladers are still using level 1 heaven chain.

as for me, a level 64 blader with 64+3 crit 8, shield br 16, i always do kd, (if first kd doesnt kd'ed him, i'd kd him again) stab then heaven chain.

ps, yeah, im too lazy to pimp my weap and shield. waiting for level 72, major pimping.

Well with the new chain thats coming to isro .... in ksro usually since dmg is calculated before its a large amount of time and the last hit followed by the kd looks like one big 7 hit combo

Ya KD and stab are effective probably but are so annoying...that's why I don't like fighting bladers lol. But pretty much the only bladers my lvl that can kill me are using sosun weapon :x I wonder if the new chains are gonna be powerfull or not :?

haha, it's only annoying because you sitting there and cant do nothing about it when your knockdown. lol

I dont know, I think it's more fun being a blader. But I do have a 2nd character who is a Pure INT. I just hate that long pause when they about to shoot.

Don't underestimate chains. Sure as a blader KD and stab are your bread and buddah but going against another shield user KD and stab suddenly become alot less potent. Against another blader or s/s nuker chains do rather nice. If they block your KD that will really knock the wind out of you. But if they block a hit or two on a chain you are still getting damage done. So when it comes to glavie/spear or bow lay em flat on the grass. But don't be affraid to chain. I can't tell you how many times I finished off glavies that were running away from me when I chained.

Pure str bladers are terrible for pvp no matter if you're doing chains or kds.

If you use range skills against a nuker who knows phantom you're in trouble. Range skills give nuker time to finish their nuke, not to mention the damage is passable for the time it takes. Just KD+Stab them until you get a nice crit and think you can finish them off, then use a chain.

Not true. Chains are great for pvp.

Xanovaria wrote:Pure str bladers are terrible for pvp no matter if you're doing chains or kds.

Also not true. Theyre job in PVP is tanking and they do a fine job at that. Theyre not meant for dealing damage. But if you want to get technical, they do a nice amount of damage as well. You just need a nice blade and good technique.

I use chain fighting Spear/Glavier only because as soon as i KD and stab. They switch to shield >.< that gives them Def like a blader. I don't even use KD and stab as much now. And i killed a bunch of 80 glavier with chains that crits at the end alot. I have to KD when i got stun though. because their HP get refilled.....

if you don't have a sun blade like cool2fool, your chains are gonna get potted off. That's why you want to use KD

Yeah... Blades couldn't win any pvp without Knockdwon and stab. I dnt think str blade is best in pvp. Its great tank.. cant get killed easily.. but can't kill either.. Well i guess for pure int knock stab knock stab if opponent did not know down chain and then knock.

My first sig. Not the best hehehe.
