ice vs fire for hybrid int spear

and so i decided to make a hybrid spear. and then another dilemma came to me - ice or fire?

i plan to max light and spear ofcourse, and i dont know what my third mastery should be. any suggestions?
fire:
+more heavy nukes
+mag def
+phy dmg bonus
+(slightly) better imbue than light

ice:
+phy def
+freezing attacks
+soon to come MANA SHIELD
-weak but cool looking (+ ) nukes

what should i do? is 1 strong nuke enough for hybrid? at lvl 90 i ould have 2 strong nukes, but lvl 90 is sooooo far away that i consider it not so important

plz help in making this decision

well at lvl 80 im going to do this:

i think that mana shield will be a must-have for ints... so i will lvl up ice to lvl 75 (at this lvl 45% of damage goes to mp). the next one is at lvl 80, so i dunno if we will have it or no
i will get the masteries like i said at my post, but now im not sure if max fire of lighting
fire has better imbue, stronger nukes, mag defense, phy attack...
lighting has speed, parry... and the buf of mag attack. and here i dont know whats better: fire imbue and nukes, or light imbue and nukes + buf of mag attack

u should probably go fire even for the 90 cap because the ice nukes are 630 ish damage and the fire ones 1700 dmg at 90. we are not even at legend 1 and ksro is at 6 think of how long its gunna take

wel, its true that fire nukes are strong, actually 3 times tronger that ice nukes but i wonder if light nuke wouldnt be enuf. infact last book of lit nuke is the strongest one. therefore i still cant decide if i should go defensive way (mana shield) or the offensive way (fire nukes and buff)

At 80 cap I find the best INT build for me to be

80 weapon
80 fire
80 light
60 ice <--40% mana shield.

Still dunno about 90 yet though =/

Stay calm for now. 80 fire, 80 light, 80 heuk, 60 cold.
As for the 90 cap, things get more complicated. There, you should drop one of fire or cold.
If you are a light INT hybrid (76-83%), go for fire for the pro imbue, nukes and overall higher damage. If you are heavy INT hybird (83-90%), go with cold for the extra defence.

For pvp you would only use 1 nuke, even if you had more.

For grinding it would be nice to have more nukes but, many people just do nuke+lion shout. If that doesn't kill it, they go to a lower mob.
Ice nuke should work ok for grinding purposes.
