PURE INT spear or PURE INT sword and sheild

well i am almost done farming and I am sure i want to to be pure int but i can't decide wether i should be pure int or pure sword.

Pure int sword. If you use spear, you will die quickly.

Spear is also very good even though you might die quickly. That's why you need pimped out equipment...I'm pure int s/s lvl 38 and I die within the second book of soul spear then a nuke. (from int spears) I do like the blocking though really does rock. Spear ppl can hold their own :\

Hybrid spear or pure int s/s, definitely don't go pure int spear or you'll die in 1-2 skills by glavier.

only sword. Use a spear to nuke from behind, dealing awesome damage in a guild war or something. Otherwise, use a sword.

I picked s/s after this and talking to some other pure ints.
you can keep spear for the grinding and the long range nukes.

And one last thing spear worked really well for me untill lvl 57 after that pure str's started owning me in pvp. Like any special gear or sos is like almost impossible to win with spear.

i was using spear (im pure int btw). and i died too quickly.

now i use sos sword and shield and freaking own XD.

but.... if you have the money, a decent spear (good blue, +5, possibly sos etc) will be awsome.

if i were you i would go dual weapon. spear to grind and s/s for pvp

s/s is better cuz of the 50% chance of KD vs spear's ghost and stun. With new skills, if u can get 50% for stun or KB, then advantage spear. but if so, glaives will go insane. hahaha ...

s/s has the castle shield now so if you see that the first hit takes 50% down then using that skill might be a good idea and the new mana shield is comming too.
Yes glaives will do better with the new skill just like every other build so no insane anything

Pure INT spear doesn't die that much faster than s/s does. Big deal, it blocks every so often. Pimp your gear like should, full STR and INT on everything, and you should be better than o.k. with a spear. Besides, Heuksal mastery gives a HP boost AND the damage from the spear kicks the swords ass all over the place.

yes it does die much faster (from my own experience). I'm lvl 60 now.. i have a 52 sos+3 spear and a lvl 56+3 sword with shield +3 br 15.

With spear i get 3 hit by like every pure str with a decent weapon although i can prob kill them faster then with s/s I never get the chance to do so.

with s/s i can take them down, take much more hits even without the block and i got the castle shield too.

the extra hp doesn't do much for ya. you need your castle shield, extra def from the shield and your block. Believe me it makes a huge diffrence.

I use to agree with you.. i've used spear up untill lvl 56 after that you notice that the pure str's new skills hurt you too much to do any good at 1vs1.

This is all asuming that you have average gear, ofcourse with full sosun you can do great. I've got all +2/3 str +21 int +24 (it ain't much i know, just average)

although i'd love to see some 1vs1 vids from you since you are lvl 60+. To see how you fight.

pure int s/s is useless, they can't even kill myself which is a int hybrid (wit armor on) in 1 hit!!! and i can kill them in 1 hit!!! go spear for max dmg!! even wit s/s u may not die easly but will still die eventually all the time!!!
