Support players in Euro...

I see the general populus leaning towards the ever-popular and played out OMG DMG and tanking classes, as always (bleh) Who's gonna be a support player, Im talking dedicated clerics and bards? (and though its not full on support, I havent seen anyone showing interest in warlock...anybody doing that?)

Solo success is a dime a dozen (YES! You who think you are all powerful or leet cause you crit so friggin high, you are NOT important.), you'll always have people bragging about omg I did this or that, but when a whole team can prove a wonderful synergy and accomplish feats that no single person could, you have found a truly rare thing.

Warlock and cleric will probably be the only 2 classes I'll try. Warlock for pure fun, cleric to help out people I know (and also because I don't want to put the party's chance of success in the hands of an incompetent player ^^).

Another reason Im so surprised to see people who are going to make euro characters still leaning towards dmg dealing/taking -- in a system that will be purely party based, those people are gonna have a MUCH harder time getting grouped.

I've had tons of fun with my lvl 21 Warlock in kSRO. I'll probably build another when euro comes to iSRO.

Most people pick those classes because they want to wtfpwnz0r all... If I see anyone going like this ("Look nubs, I'm doing most damage, w00t, I'm 1337") etc., in the party I'm healing, then I always 'forget' to heal them by accident ^^.

Warlock is more of a debuffer. And showing off damage has nothing to do with the party oriented play required.

im cleric for healing and buffing. it is a bit hard at first to heal the party
seperately (heal works on 1 partymember), but after lvl 20 you get party
heal, so you press the quickslot button every now and then to heal all
at once. in the end, you will have a skill which does about 950%dmg (not
sure but i think like 961%) and that will cost you 95% of your full hp.

bards are good for things like speedbuff and some other buffs and have
some fun attack skills

warlocks are more the DoT damagers (damages like burn effect, electric
shock, other status effects). im trying that one out as sub skilltree so i can
give some more info on that one later on

B. I said they are not important in the sense that they are a dime a dozen, if you need a damage dealer, you can always find one, they are not important in the sense that they are so plentiful.

C. Forum discussion shouldn't "piss you off", if it does, you should lay off the internet. for real.

D. Correct grammar/spelling tend to behoove those attempting to make a persuasive argument. If you want somebody to take you seriously, then you need to set a proper example.

Have you ever played Euro race?..

Ofcourse you need all the different builds, that's what the party system is about. But I think with the damage builds he meant that people tend to go for the almighty DPS chars as high number tends to enlarge the E-peen for some people ^^. E.g.: WoW, in random parties I almost always had a DPS char in the party that wanted to get as high on that DPS-meter as possible... with loss of aggro for our tank as result :s.

i think warlocks can make mobs sleep lol, i remember dr doing tht

and erm, bards are like the ppl that go with force and lightning on chinese race(thats the best example i can get

They have speed ubff, even th thing like those circles that for example, any mob from lvl 0-30 wont atack you unless you atack him and i think the bard still has loads of other nice buffs i just havent got time yet to get to see em all

I must say that somebody that's thinkin in going cleric should really know that they are gonna have a hard time..its really fun tho, ppl may think like..bah healing, i wont be killing any mob, how boring!!!. Nah nah

Ur always watching everybody's hp and shit and you feel good when you heal the whole party gd=nobody dies...but when somebody dies cause u took 2 secs to watch tv, they're rlly gonna get pissed at ya

I ahvent tryed the warlocks..i think imma make one as soon as soon as i get some money from trading with my crossbow

Hope any of this info helps the ppl that barely know anything about euro

the cleric skill is 967% dmg. Will cost 95% of your hp. And you can get it at lvl 40.

I'm playing cSro atm too (And kSro oO) But anyways all builds will be done a lot. I tested like all of them so far. Now i'm sticking with rogue.

Chances are your just going to need your cleric skills. Also too everyone who wants a 2nd class for clerics, your going to need ALOT of sp. The cleric tree is the biggest tree in the game. (buffs,smites,group heals,ab status reductions and etc...)

thats because clerics are gods in euro. The party MUST protect you or else they all die.

really? I would have thought pure bards ( in the beginning ) would have been in shorter supply than clerics...thats why I chose bard.
