Observations of PVP

So, I was just watching a pvp match. I usually don't say names (unless they completly annoy the hell out of me) and in this case, he did.

Anyway, so I saw this low level char who had a lvl 3 4th book fire imbue, so I decide to see how strong he was (he's in level 24 gear, with an sos 24 blade and sos 24 shield), I nuked for 5K, I was like...cool.

Then this high level, _Chan_Ho_Nam comes and starts killing everyone, one nuke = one kill. I hate when people do that and usually kill them repeatedly when I see that happening...since it annoys teh hell out of me.

So then he nukes that guy I was talking about (c, since I don't want to invade his privacy per se, anyway he's a blader and capped) who was in lvl 24 gear...and does 7K of damage. I was like WTF. And Chan was like WTF.

He keeps nuking and nuking and the only people he's killing are those who die by splash damage (including me).

So anyway, he couldn't win....

ever.

And got pissed. Why? Becuase he's a pure int and level 80 (http://rev6.com/index.php?site=player&player=30532) but couldn't take anotehr level 80 down...who was in lvl 24 gear.

Now let's assume that what he had on was lvl 24 sosun gear + 10 (which is HIGHLY doubtful). This means that all the gear was around....49-54 or so.

But no, I was a noob for thinking that. According to him, SOSun means it makes you "50 times strongr [sic]." Yes, 50 times; apparently it doesn't matter the level of the item, or anything. Then he told me he is only 72....and I replied...um, I didn't ask for your level, I just checked it on rev6...and you're 80. He called me a noob (again) and an idiot for thinking what I thought about sosun gear and also not trusting him as to his level.

So, when I just local chat that Chan is 80 and losing (badly) to another level 80 who's in low level (supposedly sosun) gear, he got pissed and started nuking me over and over....and told me to take down the lvl 80 since I'm so leet and strong and such.

I miss the old days when...there were only a few people who were high level, and though almost all the legits back then were douchebags (yes, almost all of them) there were a few who were actually nice...and when people pvp-ed...it wasn't a lvl 80 vs. lvl 30...repeatedly, it was usually a level 70 v 70 (i.e. billion vs. Had, back in the day on my server), or a lvl 15 v 15 or 30 v someone close to that level.

The only two good things that have happened in my opinion are:
1) monkey are no longer on auto pick for ALL items
2) people (in server, not on sroforums) don't accuse eachother of being botters just becuase they're capped and losing/winning in a pvp duel.

But...anyway....that's my story....he is now the only player on Oasis that I dislike.....and yes, the only.

just ignore these type of players, any decent active player has a clue what level his fellow players are at least the ones close to his own level.

There will be players who will act like this no matter on what cap, maybe on the early caps if those people whined there was some decent player who would shut them down, something that is becoming harder each day, once the flame/whine has started you just got to wait till everyone is calmed down or just disconnect, that is why a block chat from certain players would be a welcome add to the game.

same for guild invitation (something the gm`s already have encountered on each of their server visits)

and please since they know who has certain tickets, give those people a report advantage (just to support your customers)

Hmmm im not sure why he wasnt able to kill him... maybe the nuker was hybrid and didnt have very strong nukes.
Also the guy in noob gear may still be wearing and 8d head... all his 8d jewelry... maybe even his 8d hands....

As for killing noobs when caping... i dont do it... whats the point? I usually just let them hit me alot until they get bored. The only time i do kill them is if im trying to concentrate on something else and they are annoying me... or if theres like a lvl 60 repeatedly killing lvl 30-40's over and over and trying to act tough

Indian TV (I guess movie was a bad chocie). There's this channel in India called SunTV that has Indian programs, news, etc. (isaitamil.net/isaitv I think)

Anyway, there's this website you can go that you can watch it for free in any country in the world so long as you have internet....if they watch anything or download....I INSTANTLY get 2 second lag, and precisly 2 seoncds...well...maybe 1.5...maybe 2.5...but you know....predictable lag...meh...) =P

that is exaclty what im doing. I hates to c high lv ppl come and kil kil kil kil low over and over again..It make me wanna help people to revenge. Right now i think im strong enough to kill any1 on my way.

I don't know if anyone mentioned this but I just skimmed. Could it be that the damage was reset? so he was actually doing like 65k+7k? I dunno.

Thats what i was thinking. Could have SUN Jewelry. It makes a HUGE difference.

The only time i kill newbs while pvping is when i see a pack of 4 of em all within the splash zone of my devil arrow :twisted:

but other than seeing 4 numbers over 10k pop up and 4 players drop, there is no fun in doing it repeadetly.

Would need to zerk to do that kind of dmg.

i use bloody fan storm

ever since it became mobile it is a valuable asset in pvp against nuker. i was fighting lvl 35 int nuker(i think) and i saw the dmg he could do about a little less than 2k and when i activated it he did at least 900 i swear to god it gave me time to hit him with flying dragon and soul depart and a few more hits and he was dead.

Wow, that's suspicious, even with great gear a level 80 PURE int should kill a bladder 80 in 24 gear, weird.

Anyways, go to safe zone, taunt, taunt some more, taunt loudly, taunt with remarks about his mother, and do the cape & horse trick.

from the little I understand about pk editing it only alters what you see not what everyone else sees
ie you edit your pk file, and only you see the difference, he edits his pk and only HE sees the difference.....

At least I think that's how it works

Both were botters, hence the most powerful and only fully farmed people on the server (but unlike the 3 other legits who were fully farmed, weren't douches).

Had was banned and restarted a new account, ahd, which was then banned again, I think had/ahd restarted a third acount dha, but then quit to go to WoW.

Billion, the original was the botter. He gave his account to a friend (Billion the second per se) who then finished the leveling from 68 to 70 by hand. This billion was hte one that people knew, who did buy gold, but kept oasis alive by having contests (daily), playing hide and go seek (1-10 million prizes), playing zerk and if you can take me down (you get 1 mil if you win), had predictable him hunter vs any thief (1:1 or 1:2) on server for money. He was an amazing player since he was a personal motivator for me (having a char that could beat him would be awesome). This was also the billion that was hte first to +11 a shield, to +10 a spear, to have a full sos armor and prot set at lvl 70 cap, the one who told people about how to get a camel (as a theif) into town with goods, and a lot of other bugs/tricks, etc.

This Billion was capped at 70 for a long time. Eventually about 1.5 months before the cap, he gave this account to a neighbor. The neighbor...was a douche. He completly wasted the account, although there were millions upon millions amounts of gold in teh account, not to mention the silk was maxed out (5,000 silk), he somehow spent all of it. So, he needed silk for a monkey, added some, but then charged back the account. So, that's how the third billion killed the billion character and ended the legacy =( No one took on this spot. The good old days of SRO when it was rare to see a lvl 40-60 hunter/theif...Now...it's rare to see a lvl 20-30 trader...ever.

the second one was the one scammed. JM doesnt care much about botting....he (#2) jusy didnt agree w/ ccf-ing....so hewas legit thatway....nor did HE bot, #1 did...

sorry egypt but your wrong on a few points there. 2nd Billion did bot, he was a douche, he did lose his spear because he was ccf'ing, and lastly, he sold the account then tried to scam it back so the guy using it chargebacked and it got banned.

Weird! I heard differently. He only had to grind through 2 levels, 29 and parts of 68 and 70.

I disagree that he was a douche. He was always nice to me and I was never guild....or even a high level (or anywhere close at that time). The second one didn't CCF, the person who offered to CCF was the one who stole the spear from Billion. That person from imperial OFFERED to CCF for him, and billion tried, but lost his spear. Eventually, weirdly enough, he got it back but...whatevs.

I heard it was the 3rd billion that got his own account banned...but that's just what I heard, maybe your right baout this part.

2nd billion tried to scam it back, thats why 3rd billion charge backed. He lost his spear, cuz the guy put like 5 astral on it already, and billion kept begging for more which ticked him off so he kept it.
