I think your getting confused, considering you can get any mastery, you can wear anything depending on the level of your mastery, so yes you can have a cleric in Armor it would just take a lot of farming which not a lot do as getting Warrior for a Cleric would be pretty useless.

whats better Cleric & bard OR Cleric & wizard ??? ~~ which is the most poerfull bard or wizard? ~_~

Wizard in general is the most powerful, and uses various different elements that can cause status ailments to the monsters, Cleric on the other hand is a support character, essential for a party due to its buffs, it also has the strongest attack in all of silkroad at lvl 80 1123~1370 (978%) BUT this is like a Kamikaze skill as it takes 95% of the clerics HP just to cast and cool down is 1 minute.

I heard if you use the special shield skill and a potion just after doing that skill you have a high chance of not dieing.

Yes, if you heal yourself fast enough, your safe but in PVP, I've seen Clerics just run into someone and pretty much Kamikaze the other player.

No, but! he can wear light armour though (equivalent to Chinese protector)

In order too get heavy armour you would have to make melee as your highest mastery and use cleric as a secondary mastery. (I always loved that "paladin" combination)

As for twelve eleven, unless you use "very" large pots you have a good chance (then again, you might as well heal your self with the non target group heal). Anyway clerics get a skill that can 1-shot wizards near your lvl(no, not the kamikaze skill) it's absolute damage (which means that at lvl1 it should almost ALWAYS do 623 damage) and a wizard or any pure int should die immediately.

As for melee you don't always need to use the suicide attack, what I usually do is shield, smite (the first attack skill you get), and use the restraint spell (should stop them in their tracks), once they are restrained use your absolute damage spell as much as you can since it is a fast cast. They should be dead by now. And if you get hit you can always cast healing cycle (a heal over time spell) it's especially great just before getting into battle or using it after a heal.

Hehe, maybe you wont have as much of a hard time getting into silkroad then before.

Because since the map is larger, the server capacity is much more larger now.

Which class?

For melee it's the longsword
For rogues it's the dagger, BUT as a crossbow you get higher crits
For spell casters it's the wizard or warlock

I said warlock because if you know how to play one, you can do serious damage to at least 4 mobs (which means more xp!) and if you stack your dots on someone they can die within 10 seconds!

Well not summon, but they can transform into the monster, I've seen Shakrams from Taklamakan running around Hotan :D

They have to use a ability to transform something that lets you use that item.

And they can still summon pets though. I think it's a lvl59 ability.

no...it's a class built on crits (alot of crits) stealth, and sabotage(poison) unlike the other melee.

I think the rogue class is the most fun of all classes. They can make masks (that you use to transform into monsters) and they can have pet monsters, go stealthed, and poison people.

The best soloing class is the rogue it self (even in the official description they say it's the best solo)

And I have "heard" that the poison can do big damage.

Must have been doing something wrong, or you were below the lvl of 25. Because I had a friend in ksro who soloed ALOT and could survive very well.

In fact, a rogue+a cleric could solo a unique. I have done that once (I was cleric).

I was using daggers, but I guess it might be easier to solo with crossbow since you don't have to get in close. Maybe because I was hunting mobs my level. lol

Nah he was daggers, but the trick is to stealth your self and run behind the victim, then poison and attack.

That would take a while since you gotta wait to stealth.

I tried soloing Tiger Girl at level 39. She nearly killed me. Not good when you had 10 sec delay on pills....

I haven't tried to solo grind with the 15 sec delay and 1 sec delay on pots and pills though.

I'm thinking every class has serious advantages and serious disadvantages. I used to play a game (Khan Online) where you HAD to party to lvl. Each class contributed. Knights were super tanks and couldn't damage anything solo. They needed sorcerors in the party to kill anything in a reasonable about of time. And sorcerors..they dealt massive damage but literally couldn't tank two hits from a monster a knight could tank for days. And of course you had other classes like cleric, miko(buffer) and stuff. Each bought something different to the table in a party but no classes were strong enough to solo anything.

I'm thinkin the euro update might be similar to this.

It does the most melee dmg as possible but does not get as much crits as a rogue though. And the rogue does damage way faster.
