Okay so i was just informed by my mom she is going to buy me my long awaited pc

AMD Athlon 64 3700+ Processors
ASUS K8N motherboards with nForce 3
GeForce 6800 Ultra video cards with 256mb video memory (overclocked by manufacturer)
1 gig of RAM
10,000 RPM Raptor hard drives
19" flat panel LCD monitors (8ms response time)

she is buying it from my lan-center

and i was wondering what games i should play???
ive already got a few in mind but are there others i should try?

Counter Strike : source
Counter Strike 1.6 * just to pwn cin
BF2

I hope you're not paying more than $400 for that PC. If you've never played KOTOR, you should buy it. It's one of my favorite games of all time. It's a Star Wars RPG.

Lol I did mean $400 for the pc and the monitor but it's not my money so I guess that's okay.

Well.. seriously:
The Gothic Series, even if you don't like it, it's not a bad game, the story is maybe too common, but the game itself is unique. It's somewhat old, but if you get hooked as i did, the third one needs a good PC and it seems that yours can handle it

Lol I did mean $400 for the pc and the monitor but it's not my money so I guess that's okay.

GW - one of the best games i ever played... amused me alot in pvp (it's bassicly the only mmorpg that rly requires some skill)

Warcraft III - i played it for over a year... TOWER WARS FTW W00T ROFLAMETHROWER
