I have Windows Vista home basic and when I start SRO it'll work untill I get to the char select window.I don't see a charactar only the docks.When i try to end the proces i need to reboot my Pc.
Someone help me pl0x.

Have you tried waiting a bit? For some reason my screen freezes at that point too sometimes, for like 30 seconds (but only sometimes). I have no idea why that problem occurs on my system. But if waiting a bit doesn't solve it then it might have something to do with you running the game on Vista. SRO GMs oficially stated that SRO will NOT run properly on Vista in the near future.

I waited for like 1 hour, I went eating something I came back the screen was still stuck.
So the only solution is to install another windows?

-Download the client and Right mouse click to Run as Administrator.
-Right mouse click to Run as Administrator on the SRO exe as well.
-Make a shortcut and select Properties-Compatibility. Click on the check box saying Run this program in compatibility mode for and select Windows XP Service Pack 2 and press Apply button.
