Foreign versions of SRO in English

So, has anybody found an answer tothat stupid The detail information necesarry to connect t the game was not found error? I tried to google but to no success. Sombody told me maybe my account would have something to do with it, and my KSSN could be some underaged korrean's or stuff but i doubt that. More likely i miss a file or two from my KSRO folder...anyway ill try to switch to the old media.pk2 and if it works i'l yell here ^_^. Regardless, Cruor you are a smart guy and an excelent guide writer, keep up the excelent work.

i did it all right..it goes to the verify code and my thing now decides not to work and change to Korean...any suggestions?

Hey people, found out the solution to the The detail information necesarry to connect to the game was not found. Turns out KSROuses some info from the korrean yahoo account, information which they cannot withdraw from their databases so it errors.Simple way to avoid this is to login to the KSRO website, then go to member edit, and fill your profile, then submit. And it's gone...only problem now is image verification...still in Koreean.

first i know , i just need to follow the guide but i want to know , becouse of the image verification , do i have to give up the english so i can enter the image or not ???????? :?:

There's NO image verification in cSRO so no, you don't have to give english up.

I play on Chinese though, some things are lost if you translate it.

EDIT: when i dl it and instal it do i have to dl or instal it i an special folder so i dont mess things up i know i hae seen it smoewhere but i aint sure , tnx anyway , expect me in cSRO in a few days if i dont have problems

The only thing that could happen if you install cSRO is that it overwrites any other SRO you have installed, so if you plan to play only cSRO, don't worry, just install it and play.

If you want to have iSRO or any other installed too, change the name of the folder where the one you already have is.

It always will be in korean.
U need to learn to type korean, u will need some korean knowledge
ingame to say things to ppl anyways.

HALP! I cant make a character. After i log on and go to the character selection thingy i get the ????? and then i go on create character everything is written in ? i tryed to change it to english but i guess it failed. And when i enter my characters name and go on create nothing happens.

And if i put in numbers and go on create everything freezes and i cant press anything. Do i have to put in my characters name in Chinese letters?

im using cSRO

before i changed the lang to "English" the game ran fine (except in chinese)

now i changed the language to english, and im getting a directx error, saying i dont have driectx 90.b or later.... and i have dx 10

please help with problem

k guys Ive looked EVERYWHERE for a way to type Korean symbols with an english keyboard and there is no way im gonna buy a Korean keyboard. This is the site http://www.wandel.person.dk/korean.html and you can make symbols but when i copp them i cant paste them into the verifcation thing...and by learning to type korean? how? lol..

i have installed korean language on pc
did everything shown there
deleted the right bit
size of media.pk2 is same as original
game starts and ID password etc comes (all english) but the iv

my problem is about the image verification:

if i start ksro with korean language, i can write korean letters at iv. and when i enter iv, i can enter the game

if i start ksro with english language, i cant write korean letters at iv. even i try shift+alt(to change language) or AltGr(to change writing style) it doesnt work...

Did u have make your computer work on korean, if the programme launch don t tell witch langage the programme use?

Are u sur that u got only 2 language keyboard on your computer? when u make shift+alt maybe u have to make it more if u got more than 2 langage keyboard.

And did u have test write korean on the forum ofr exemple?

it s normal u can t play ksro in english language now, because english it s no on unicode, and for write korean u need be on unicode.

Yes, this is very outdated. But don't delete kSRO just yet, I have a new method in the works. Here's a little teaser:

If the old method was lockpicking the door to kSRO, this is using a battering ram. I'm not sure when I'll have time to finish my little program. All it really needs is Unicode support (I have to convert to ANSI to use it right now) and a new flag to automatically fill the file with null bytes.
