I thought that was OB.
this game will always be f2p with an item mall the only things in the item mall are costumes, to make your characters look unique.
the GM's said it themselfes on the game forum..
no it wont. it's p2p + item mall + buying the cd...

see how it says "180 days gameplay + 30,000 G-points"? 180 days of gameplay means u get to play for 6 month if u buy this box, what does that mean? it means it's p2p. 30,000 G-points is for item mall, u got that many points to spend on items.

ouch nevermind

^lol at your sig and user
hmm f2p is great but...lets just hope it's not going to be another intense grinder ,because usually in a item mall there is a xp increaser...which means that your going to spend crap loads of time trying to get to another lvl. Prime example: silkroad. I think that's all that needs to be said.

Heard some rumours that the staff was going to announce it (if it'll be f2p or p2p) today, but I'm not sure.
People are mostly discussing it on http://forum.iahgames.com/ge/showthread.php?t=160, but perhaps the staff will post it in the announcement section. However, I'm just guessing, we'll have to wait and see.

Yeah, I'm afraid the game is going to be p2p, item mall as well.
Thus, I stopped playing it. I'm alittle dissappointed, because it's a very cool game... I had a few issues with it though.
If you're willing to pay to play your games, then ge is a good choice. If not, sro is better.
I dont know, im think that initially the game was supposed to be f2p, because i do remember seeing some post of the sort, and after GE saw how many customers they had.. well maybe people can get greedy.
for all we know no one will go out and buy the box and GE will revert back to f2p
and I don't know if you can not spend any money on SRO, beyond 70+ that is, anyone who handgrinded to 80 no gt ever is my hero

I have a question about GE: is there any real difference between having three characters each with one skill and having one character with three skills? The whole idea of having three characters, which everyone is making a big deal about, doesn't seem all that interesting to me. I could say that my sword/nuker/force character is a warrior and a wizard and a healer all wrapped in one. Maybe because they can use their skills concurrently instead of consecutively?
Another question: don't the male characters look a little...umm...effeminate? Not that there's anything wrong with that. Just seems strange that a company would design male models that look like...well...male models.

the characters use different skills depend on who he is. e.g. a fighter cannot use wizard skills. so if you want 3 different skills sets you'll have to have 3 characters.

Right...but how is choosing three different characters, each with only one skill, different from having one character with three different skills? The distinction sounds artificial to me.

lol, already do that, but I'm a str/blade so it ain't a big deal.
when he meant 20+ he literally meant 20+, it is impossible to be fighting 20+ mobs in SRO, not even when farming in the den.
and it's not just 1 skill, you can use different weapons (e.g. fighters can use great sword, rapier, polearm, s/s, etc.) each with a unique stance, and each stance has 3~5 different skills. it's more similar to having 3 WoW-ish characters.
other pros:
3x the grabbing speed, 3x the total health, 3x the fire power, multitasking.
