Rizla's Tutorial: Basics

Post by Rizla »

Alright yall, i tried to make it as easy as possible to follow, I think i got better as I went further. Hope you like it. Lighting/Contrast/Art Concepts are the most important imo.

If you want to use the same assets used in the tut, they are available as a zip here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZD9S5FNS

Wow, Rizla. I think you did a great job - but who am I, especially in this section of the Forum, to tell a person like you if you did a great job or not? :P
All I can say is that, even to a person like me, who doesn't know head from foot in Art, it was clear and concise, and made perfect sense. Maybe I should download Photoshop like how Cin told me to, and give it a try for myself.

I think this definently deserves a Sticky.
Again, amazing job. High five!

I like, I like good job, I like how you just captured the basic concepts of sigs, you just put the key things that people need to know to make their own unique sig, these are essential, yet lots of people miss, part 1 is a little cluttered, but its okay, again good job..

IT posted a link to a great clipping mask tutorial on tech-gfx.net so it would have been redundant, if youre having trouble following that one then I will def do one up for you SG.

Next time try please more than 2 times before you post and second this thread is a half year old. You shouldnt revive old threads unless its your the creater of the thread and did update something. =)

Not really, I dont really think the rules apply to tutorials, I mean it doesnt matter how old the tutorial is, people still use it and need help or post an outcome.

am with 0l3n.

take a look in guides n tuts section.
the reason people post in the guides/tutorials, is cause they know that the
starter of those topics knows the answer to their questions.
