PT prices -,-

Post by Acronikosz »

Every morning to be able to play this game, I have to wake up at 6am, log on and fall asleep, so after study I can play abit... but my modem has lag spikes occansionally and I totally disconnect right to desktop, so I was getting sick of repeatedly trying to join a server for about 2 hours and thought id get PT...

But the prices of them are stupid, 150silk for silver, and 200 for gold...

were is bronze? Id happily buy 100silk for monthly sub to get into server, I dont want all this crappy bonuses, just the ability to join a server.
Im not prepared to pay 10, 15 odd quid a month just to get the basics of playing a game, joining a server...
I respect its a free game, but there has to be some points of improvement...

I totally agree , but the PT does have major advantages ...I have seemed to notice that I have been having better success at alchemy and drop rate increase due to the ticket and its 5% bonusses. not to mention being able to login first try for the past 2 weeks...has been more then good to me.

i just had to bite the bullet and buy one too, and the only reason the prices are higher than gt is if it was far to cheap then the system wouldn't work at all.
to cheap > everyone owns ones and thus how would prefered login work?

least that the only reason i can think of :?

anyone actually know how pt login works?

moral of the story... cut down servers and make the others larger, we only need about 5 or 6, but then lag wouldnt be so nice... its a very 2 sided thing

probably along the lines of the counter-strike designated server slots , your name goes on a list with the other PT users and when you go to sign on , it disconnects some random NON PT user , thus allowing you're preferred access.............. hahaha I doubt thats how it works but maybe =)

B . T . W - I am using a gold premium ticket

Disconnects have been happening long before the PT. It's unlike the PT causes them. It's more likely they reserve slots.

Actually morningdew did post that ppl DO get kicked for PT users. The person who has been logged on longest with the least activity gets kicked.

This has been one of my arguments against PT. Botters benefit the most from this. They arent ever inactive. That poor legit guy who is stalling his drops , desperately trying to make enough gold to buy the overpriced (due to gold bots) items is the guy that loses.

Completely agree, im sticking with my regular gold tickets because I can get more for less, 200 silk is too much for me.

Also agree with NB, I dc almost every night when trying to stall. . . pure bs if you ask me. . . Bots don't go inactive, they don't get kicked, legits do. . . GG JM.

Haha...fellow English player!

£10 for 100% exp/sp and joining the server first time isnt that much is it? (Not to mention all the bonuses) It would save you a hell of a lot of time, especially if you keep geting DCed.

My opinion...GET ONE

I think the reason why it's so hard to login now is that people don't actually get kicked to make space for a PT user, what's happening is that rev6 shows the server limit to be 3000, so as more PT users log on it's pushing that over the limit which not only shows that non PT users aren't being kicked but it also means that there's no longer any chance of jumping in when there's a 2999/3000 slot, instead you end up with 3006/3000, making it impossible for any non PT user to get on, as it drops back down towards 3000, more PT users are logging in all the time so the number rarely drops below the 3000 server cap limit.
