Two days ago I asked the bank for my credit card statement for the last 2 years to see how much money I spent on online games and it was shocking.
World of Warcraft,Guild Wars and SilkRoadOnline.
If I spent that money on drinks and beer to ,I'd feel better than games.
So I decided to quit all sorts of online games, I just deleted WoW, Guild Wars and SRO.
Gave my guild wars account to a friend, And if anyone here wants my WoW account send me a PM.
I'm gonna stop reading these forums so i won't feel like playing games anymore.

Yeah, same here. Uninstalled all online games on my comp. Except I like to hang round to chit chat here. Hasn't made me want to pick up games yet.

Although I didn't know you much, Deadly... like some others said, I know where you're coming from. Sometimes, I have the same feeling that I'm spending too much money on an alternate-reality game... like, thingy.

So good luck IRL, and I respect the fact that you actually have the willpower to quit. However, I'd say, like other people as well, that you could still lurk around in the OTL a bit, if you so choose to - we're a great bunch of people. :)

Good luck in whatever decision you make, in real life, and... good for you. My humble opinion is that you made the right choice. :)
