glavie is a great build. high dmg and high hp. So relativly easy to play and still do great in pvp and pretty nice during grinding too. Imo not much strategy needed but i've never played a pure str glavie so i dunno.

Easy level up with good HP, highest damage on crits, only need a handful of skills to be PvP effective..... newbie friendly..... SP farm for weapon/fire for main..... maybe sub-light for speed/parry buff, even to the extent of weapon/light only..... less SP required.....

Heck, why did I drop a pure STR glavie for a hybrid bow? Not for new players (you at least need to test out pure STR and pure INT) but I would say things can be more interesting with non-cookie cutting.

Easy to level and pvp with.
Easy on sp.
And I personally think it's because it's the best value: Nice grinding speed + Nice damage + Nice pvper.

Other builds only offer 2 benefits most of the time.

you only got builds with more advantages and builds that require more challange. And builds that are near impossible to play..like 1:1 hybrids xD

int builds require strategy.. dual weapon int builds even more.
Hybrids even require strategy in the build. And during fighting too.
It's just pure str that just select their target and spam 3 skills.

but like someone says that's how that build works. Not bad or anything but this is why a lot of ppl love this build. It's easy very little chance of going wrong both during build and during fighting. If you lost it's because the other guy was stronger. You couldn't have done much wrong in your fighting-strategy.

While with int there are so many options. You can use weaponskills, nukes, stay close, go far. Use extra-def-skill now or wait for it (ok this one pure str has too, but most just use it at the start). And with dual weapon you have even more option. SO here it's easy to go wrong... it takes practice to fight with a int build...if you wanna play it right.

yeah okay .. maybe bow is a exception. Like i said i didn't play any str char good yet. It's just from what I see.. and from what i hear ppl say about how they play their characters.. My str char is only lvl 24 now (blader) so i'm not gonna claim here that i'm a pro on pure str's.

But if i think about bow.. it's diffrent because it has range and some attacks take a while. I think these two element make it stand close to nukers. So same as nuker it requires some strategy to take the most advantage from range and to fill up the weakness of the slow attacks. Only diffrence is that bow has more hp. So bow is basicly the bow is the str version of a nuker so the speak.

Ive only been playing this game for about a week and its already obvious that whoever has +5 SOx (with blue) is gonna stomp everyone else. Also pure str builds arent always so simple to play. With a blader you have KD and then a series to hit with when their knocked down.

You've got to take into account how difficult it can be to time attacks right, and which combination against which type of enemy is going to work the best. Also if you havent fought the person before (and their not a pure str glavier) <Maybe a hybrid> Your not really gonna know what works best against them until you know what skills they are going to be using against you. (they also might be wearing full +X SOx)

Mainly what I see here is that gear plays the #1 factor, And secondly that unless you know exactly who your fighting (any of the common builds) your going to suprisingly have more of a challenge (because hybrids bring new and unexpected stradegy to the ball game) than if you were to face of against the same types of builds you PvP everyday.

+1....Every build has their goods and bads.
The way you play the char also plays a role. If a pure Int nuker times it right, they can take down almost anyone in 3-6 hits. If a blader times it right, they can pretty much spam their KD move and kill anyone. A bowman can use ghost walk phantom after every strong bow and pwn anyone by continuing this process.
You see the pattern that is happening.....it's just how you play your char.

-HP for tanking...so why not go for blade?since ull cut some budget to enhance ur shield..
-Cool,simple and damaging move..unlike blade..after u push KD ull need to push stab..so why not take int hybrid spear? Coz int hybrid spear or any int build need time to shine...while u can enjoy pvp from level 30 onward...unlike pure int at level 30 have 1k-2k hp and cannot stand even 1 chain....
