I want to raise my crit and Br and it is already raise dat one bit. Say if i want my crit from 6 (25%) to 7+ can it raise from 6 or must go down and then add.

if you try and change it, it will change from 6 to anything. it can drop, it
can rise. remember, that changing these stats will make you risk changing
other stats aswell.

(the "assimilation" percentage beneath each stone; 10,20 or 30%, tell you
the chance of the stone changing other stats besides the one your stone
says.)
