My "truth" about SP farming.

i did not read the whole topic, only read what the topic starter said but i find your view on things wrong since the things you find "hard" to do, just get a bad name granted (bot/goldbuyer and so on and on) consider that things you might find boring or hard to do, are easy for others.

the fact that you choose to go all the way with a constant gap will be in my view even harder to archive going with a gap especially in the higher levels cost a LOT of time probably that choice will be longer than going 0 gap and farm your sp with a 9 gap then 0 gap again, so ask yourself what the bots choose to do? time is precious, any legit rather choose the fastest way to get from a to b bots have all the time granted so they can afford having a gap in the higher levels.

bots can go easy with a gap from 6 from 1 to 80 i cant consider myself doing that but i can imagine anyone who is seriously into gaming grind 10 levels with a 9 gap after 50 to be fully maxed then go 0 gap.

getting gold in this game is one of the easiest things, some people rather get as much gold as they can instead of level, i choose to level and get enough gold for the things i need.
i would love som or sun parts but that will just eat a lot of my time that i use to grind, money making is a thing i consider to be easy, it just cost time if i spend the time that i grind on making gold then i would be terrible rich

Desolotar144 you sound like you found out something totally new people did not know, but it has been discussed over and over again the only thing that raised a lot of comment/attention to your so called new way of farming is the biased and totally wrong calculations you claimed, still find it wrong and confusing for new players that you are actually telling them wrong information

sp farming on later levels has nothing to do with speed the only time that you might save is the deleveling time sp farmers lose at the den but sp farming at the den is considered the fastest way for all builds to farm only pure ints should skip the den and farm at nachals or any fast spawn mob.

i find the view of the topic starter just weak way of thinking, you label anything you don`t like as a cheat while some totally cant imagine going with a gap so should they label you as a cheater too?

It's much more of a pain, but farm on the bandits away from the den...

Or spawn high leveled monsters, kill all the bots, laugh, and enjoy a few minutes of alone time... then do it over again...

I'm not sure if this is sarcasm or no, but I am in a guild where 90% of the people who joined farm at level 16 with 50k, 75k, 100k+ gp and they all did it 100% legitly.

either they had another character of theirs level so high they were able to make like 10+ mil for a good weapon or they bought 10+ mil for a good weapon from the get go. So...lvl 16 farmers are either getting slow SP from having like a 16+2 wep that didn't cost anything or REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY wasting their time by raising an entire other character first to get the money, or supporting those server choking chinese gold bot bastards that sell gold. In either case, it's best/fastest to lvl to 40-52ish with a 0 gap and then farm. And in case U didn't see my other topic, everyone who disagrees isn't necessarily a cheater/gold buyer/botter etc....but they're definitely a dick lol.

Desolator, you're so stupid.
Farming at higher levels isn't better. You get minorly better sp, but you still take like 10 times as long to kill a mob, and they don't spawn near as fast as bandit archers.
I'm farming, and I JUST started in this server. I don't bot or buy gold, not even silk. I just borrowed a bow from a guildmate, who says other people can't do that?

People who say that farming at 16 is cheating are stupid. It's a strategy. Saying it's cheating is like saying "Putting all your points into str is cheating".
You think that you've discovered something totally new by farming at later levels, but it's been done a thousand times before.

The great thing about bandit archer farming is that you can make so many kills per minute, and you never have to pick up drops since it's so little money.
Plus, as a pure int I can kill a giant in less than one zerk ball, and have so much extra time to kill other bandits.

Some people farm at later levels, and for various reasons. Still, farming at 16 is the most efficient way.

Ya, archers drop it like mad, you can easilly make 100 mil farming at archers.

this guy probably got ks'd and is just whining cuz he couldnt hang. look, most players start new ones and transfer money (like i did) to buy my farming set, i happend to get lucky and got a som bow with maxed blues for under 30mil, (sellers mistake). i would love to see a bot who could farm faster than me, we have all seen them, they are slow. and it would be pointless to bot seeing that you dont really wanna go past lvl 19 if even that far at all. i am at 135k and counting and yes it is annoying but it will pay off when i dont need to spend all my time competing against the bots in takla to get my sp. so just because you failed at farming, dont bring the whole idea of it down.

oh and please, if there is a faster way. premium and sp ticket gets me 2k sp an hour!!! i GUARANTEE there is no other mob you can grind and get 2k an hour. this is of course late at night or early morning with a low amount of people in the den.

Farming at 16 is like EVERYTHING else in silkroad, there are people who do it legit and people who don't, it's just how it is.

I farmed legitly at level 16. Why? Because I want to be the best and pwnzor j0r face? No. I like farming and I've been high level without doing it, it sucks. I played to level 60 (back during 70 cap) so I'm going to be ballsy and say that was considered high level at the time, and I went the whole way with a 2-gap. The char is SP starved as hell now, it dies a LOT because I couldn't afford to buy it good gear in the gold-buyer economy we have now, and it is just zero fun to play.

Now comes the SP farming. I have a great guild that has one of the most impressive collections of farming gear on Xian between all our guys. So I restarted and got a char to level 16, borrowed some farming gear and went to work, and guess what? I like it. I don't ever die, I meet some nice people sometimes, and the bots are very easy to KS with a one-shot bow. I farm when I want to and without a ticket a lot of the time, and I've gotten enough SP to probably be safe to 2-gap to the cap, but I like farming, I don't mind sticking around until I'll never need to have a gap again.

Using absolutes like some of you have been doing is a terrible practice. When you say "Everyone" is botting, that doesn't leave a lot of room for error, in fact it leaves none. So the people who don't bot have to feel a bit personally attacked. I'm in a 100% bot-free guild, probably 75% have farmed at the stronghold. We are definitely not the normal, but we exist.
