Normally ppl would do few a day and then wait till the next day and buy more stones to try again. I think the best way is to buy as many stones as you can until you got like 20-30 stones, 30%,20%,10%
Use those stones in one go. I find it easier to get a good result if i do alot in one day rather than few in a day n fail alllll the time.
This is what you do, when the value is at 0% you use your 30% stone, when its at a percentage thats at the high side, you use 10%. It drop back to 0%? Use 30% Stone again, that way, you dont need to buy only 10% stones.

switch to bow rofl
hehehe jk, good luck
I think joymax programmed the most popular stones to fail more often than others. I used a magic reinforcement for protectors stone and first or second try it went high on 3 of my items lol.

i had a cursed 64+5 shield, i bought it dirt cheap, it had full blues 100% and was +5, but the br was 10, over the time i used it, i tried 19 stones, 12 failed and the 7 that succeeded did this everytime br10>10
but i sold it for 3x what i paid for it...poor fool who bought it
ps i only ever had 1 assim on it, changed critical from 100% to 0%, but a friend changed it back to 100% first stone :S

Honestly, unless your filthy rich, you might as well buy one with a br of 16 or your going to end up spending more than the shields worth. I used a 10% str stone on my 72+5 shield and my br asimilated from 16 to 10 - I used 26 stones to get it back to 16.... and I have the premium ticket.
gooooooood luck

the more blues that are already on your item, the more stones fail on it. Kinda the same as with Elixers. Trust me, nobody does more alchemy than me and I've totally proved it like 100 times on all my gear. I had 4 int stones in a row work on a completely white item and at least 6 stamina stones fail in a row on an item with 5 blues already
