You're having trouble listening to directions in an area where you want something from other people for nothing in return but a "thank you" and you are incapable of following the very simple directions from said people.

This makes it obvious that you have a problem with slowing down, and just following directions, you're only here to get what you want and get out, which us artists see all the time, and I wouldn't be surprised from this point to see the request go unfilled tbh. So, I encourage you to do so in the future and have some more respect, not just here, but in daily life as well - cause lets face it, behavior on the internet will tell about somebodies RL demeanor as well. :banghead:

Dont get me wrong, Im not angry or offended, snap if I got angry/offended everytime I encountered this situation I would have some serious issues.

Anyway, these 'requests' are post fairly often in this part of SRF. Most of the time they're just ignored, sometimes a person kind enough tries to ask the requester what he/she would want in the sig. Often this still won't give a result, and the thread dies away.

As for Ze_ToKin; please post a sig request in the "Taking Requests V2" topic, made by Rockshmo. This will help us keep this part of the forum more or less clean, and make the requests more (wtf?) synoptic.(I dont trust these translating machines anymore, is synoptic a word? xD)
Oh, and please post a clear request. You might just end up with an awfull sig otherwise. :twisted:

I can understand where Rizla is coming from, however. Too often I see people sign up just to advertise that they're selling some Spear, or beg for some money... it makes me sick to see that that's the sole reason why they join an awesome community like this one.

However, you guys should give him a break - if he could ask you in a clear, concise, and understandable format, Rizla, I'm sure that it wouldn't take a talented artist like yourself more than 5-10 minutes of your time to make him a nice Sig?

No, this isnt a business, but some level of proffesionalism should be exhibited, especially from those asking.

No, this isn't a restaurant and there is no "menu" to select items from, but even those with no imagination have the ability to spout off a couple of basic parameters for us art farts to play with.

As far as sig requests go, I require parameters, because I can always sit down and do a piece of art from just a whim, but theres no way I'm stamping someone elses name on it, cause it was purely my imagination that created it.

As far as Ze_Tokin is concerned, I'm washing my hands of him, Snudge was nice enough to give him a shot: -- he was directed as such:

"Ok, so please give uis clear directions how you would like your sig to be. If possible including a render.
Renders can be found on http://www.planetrenders.com. Or any other render site."

And responded with "anything u want."

If hes not willing to spend 3 minutes of his time to grab some random render Im not willing to spend an hour of mine doing a signature. I dont whip up sigs, cause my name is included with them, and I would NEVER gift a request with something i wouldnt put my own name on.

On top of that, he still hasnt placed it in the appropriate topic. Be gone imo.

I think the forum could use a little more organization, on that note. Should add a new section specifically for requests, with a stickied protocol for making a request. IMO the designer should have the easiest time in the request/granting process -- at this point in time it is difficult for both ends.

It says that your location is in the USA - so I don't think it'd hurt that much to try to be a little more clear and more... literate, for once.

How about you...

1. Find a picture.
2. Write a nice paragraph about what you want, and what to do with that picture - specify what kind of words, how you want the picture to be edited...
3. Revise and edit it so that it's presentable, and won't make people mad.

Then, you can submit your picture, and your paragraph over here, and see if anybody will take the time to help you make a Sig - Rizla's clearly cleaned her hands of you, but there are some other talented artists here that may help you.

Overall, it doesn't say much about you, if you're asking someone to spend THEIR time to make you a Sig, but you can't spend 5 minutes of your time to tell them what you want, as Rizla said.

I don't know. It's really hard to distinguish for some people. For example, I always thought Rainigul was a girl - I kept misreading HIS SN, and I think it was Rainigirl. And everytime I talk to HIM, or talk about him, I always have to go back and change the "hers" and "shes" to "his" and "him"

Just yesterday, Cin asked me if I was a guy or a girl.
