no ice is no ice. the only reason youd need ice buffs for would be defense..
but since you are a pure str build, you dont need it. i suggest you focus
on fire and light. the light tree will help you more.

Most people think glaives tank just fine. They don't think they do enough damage. That is why cin says what she says.

Also I wouldn't do an entire build on a skill that doesn't exist, they may modify it for isro just like we have ice immunity and the koreans don't.

Of course IF they remove ice immunity, then it would be the most annoying imbue.

if u are talking about the mana shield then i wouldn't use it if i were a pure str. u dont have much mp to start with and ur mp pots might not be able to pot back fast enough in pvp.

Ice imbue require 1 important thing.... Amount of Hits

The more you hit, the more chance of getting them frozen. Since you are Glaive, your hits are not as fast as swords/blade. Which lower the chance of freezing your opponent, it will be a waste of sp unless you are getting it for defence. But getting book 2 lvl 1 would be nice for annoying people who don't have immune, jsut don't spend too much on it.

When the 90 cap comes, you don't need mana shield really, as others have mentions b4, yo don't have enough mp to sustain it, it will rob your pots like crazy, and you already have so much hp, focus on damage

But of course, everything regarding the 90 cap is still in question, nobody knows what its really gonna be like until it comes out. so keep your fingers cross

Ice build for STR may not yield you the maximum damage. Comparing fire/light vs. ice, the damage is on the lower end. As a pure STR build, it is a major disadvantage that you would not deliver the damage as your main balance is in Physical. Ice imbue is more effective if used by INT char with high magical balance to counter the lower imbue damage - esp if the stats immunity is fixed for freeze and frostbite. Most INT would opt for light/fire anyway for damage, unless Ice Mana Shield is really worth it.

The buffs are good, but as a STR char, you do not need defense buff, attacking is more of your bread and butter, where the fire physical/magic def and light magic/parry/speed buffs would benefit pure STR more. Mana shield would not help a STR char as it transfer damage to your mana, which STR char have a hard time getting decent mana for transfer like INT char has.

I just love the ice glaive. But i'm not the "i wanna own the game" kind of person. I like to have fun and the great Heuksal skills with ice imbue look great for me. Maybe that lacks in dmg but so what? It's not like it will kill me in RL... or will it?

If you wanna be a killer glaive, be fire... but still i like the ice glaive more... but need more SP farming...

you can get the ice to lvl60

lvl cold some maybe to about 60 get the buffs and novas
then lvl fire light and heuksal to 80 nd ur set
now u have good attack and defence
