Reasons Not to chose a pure int bow !!

Reasons to NOT go INT Bow:

Bow has lower damage than Sword and Spear
Bow doesnt give you HP bonus like Spear, or Blocking bonus from Sword/Shield.
Bow skills are STR based

Well those are reasons why people dont go INT Bow; because you dont have the power of a spear or the power/defense of a sword/shield. And once you hit level 30, you'll be using nukes as your ranged skill anyway, so really no point to use a bow past level 30. But since you're only level 18, you dont really have to start a new char. Just keep this guy, stop learning bow stuff, and level up to 30 with a bow then switch to spear or sword/shield.

actaully you should word it different.

you CAN go pure int bow (using the pacheon tree for the bird and passive), skilling other weapon skills, while you nuke with a spear or sword. very good combo since stupid lightning nuke damage jumps all over the damn place.

Stupid?
I love the way it attracts more mobs to me...Though I might resort to guerilla tactics but thats because I'm training on dark orange to red monsters. I 2 hit them except yetis (I'm lvl 48)
I end up killing 4-5 mobs together due to lightning nukes.
Without lightning nukes and splash damage I have no idea how I'd be able to cope with the huge multiple amount of thief spawns I get when thieving...since I kill 2-3 at once with my nukes....I'm just 8% away from lvl 49 (I'm at hostel once again.) And once I reach 50 I can toss away my now useless lvl 1 fire nuke until I decide to up fire some more again.

I have two int bows in my guild , lv 60 and 59 they use bird buff and passive, lauch one nuke and quick arrow combo or anti devil and dead. It's not a bad combo and they own other nukers in pvp

I own pure int nukers in pvp

More hp and spear skills are faster than their second nuke...and it's pretty close to their damage...or even double their damage due to crits. And since they have less hp than me they die...Even level pvp is what I'm talking about here.

You may not have the power, but you have the ranged advantage, combined with cold imbue, and that glowy thingy that lets you shoot from a distance, its pretty ownage.

Hi, currently i'm playing a pure str bow (lvl 20) with pacheon mastery at 13, and cold at 5. I still confuse what element i need to take. I know that fire is strong but i'm not a nuker...So what element should i take? or should i continue with my cold mastery ???

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated...Thanks...

I would have to agree. Please use the search button before making a new post because more than likely it has already been made.

Your points are very valid in that a pure int bower is not very good. I think in a ice bow build hybrid might be pretty good 2STR : 1INT it would give you the extra physical attack and hp but still give you the lot of mana.
