Help a newbie

Post by Khoi »

Hey I was just wondering what the Sox weapons are. PLus, the + 1, +2 next to a weapons name... What does that do? +2 is better than +1 becoz its stronger? Oh and how many lucky powders should i put to use alchemy?

SoX is the stat increase just like the +# next to a weapon. It makes a weapon just a little bit stronger. You have SoS/SoM and SoSun and you have well...+ up to a max of 255 XD but thats impossible to get to.

you need a elixer to enchant an item, with that elixer you can use ONE lucky powder. if it succeed you get a + fail and youll loose every + that was on it except when you have astral then it stays at the max of +4 (you can only add astral when its +4 or higher)

^ thats right.

little side info:

seal of star is the same as approx. +5
seal of moon is the same as approx. +10
seal of sun is the same as approx. +15

if you go over +4 there is the chance your item will be destroyed (though
there was a thread about it and nobody had an item destroyed from +4 to
+5 yet, so its possibly just a rumour)

to keep the item from being destroyed, add immortal to it

if you go over +4 there is the chance your item will lose durability

to keep the item from losing durability, add steady to it

for the use of lucky powders, you have to use the lucky powder of the
same degree as your item. lucky powders only work with elixirs. if you
want to add stones to the item for changing the stats on it, you cant use
a lucky powder.

+1=that weapon lvl +1.... yeah its that simple

(e.g. a lvl 16 sword+1=a level.... 17 sword... yeah)

edit: but without the lvl requirement of 17, so lvl 16's can use the same sword stats as a lvl 17 sword... if it existed

What cin mentioned about plussing is very accurate.

Except shadowman, and cin are slightly wrong.

A seal of star item is the equivalent in power to a weapon 5 levels higher.
som=10 levels higher.
sosun=15 levels higher.

However, +1 is not exactly 1 level higher in damage, it is slightly less. So.... a sos lvl 16 weapon weapon is = to a lvl 16+7 non sos weapon.

The reason for this is that when you + a weapon only the mag. attack and Phys. attack stats on the weapon increase. There is also a physical reinforce and magic reinforce stat those goes into the damage calculation.

Also all stats on a sos/som/sosun can be higher including critical.
lvl 65 4gap 84:84 bow inactive.

Except for the fact that when you + a weapon, the reinforces dont increase like the phys\mag damage does.

5 lvls higher > +5 because of the higher reinforce
