Theres no weapon requirment for fire shield.

If you're talking about the Castle Shield Series, yes, you need a Shield equipped for that.

the fire skill called like flame wall tower where you make a wall of fire at your feet and it absorbs magic attacks.

but im gonna assume you can activate it with only a shield equipped.

U dont even need a shield for that one -.- a bow or spear u can still use it

edit: However u cant move when u use it, but i assume u know that, but hey, never assume right?
