Buy Destrpyer Rondo from the Jewel NPC in any town. Press "Y", put destroyer rondo in the window, then put the item, then hit fuse.

NOTE: When you break items, you get random amounts of elements (roughly the same total amount, but individual amounts will vary). Also, you will get elements of the degree your breaking, and 1 degree lower (except if you break 1st degree stuff since there are no 0 degree elements).

EG: If you break a 7th degree item, you will get 2 stacks of 7d elements, and 2 stacks of 6d elements.

Is it worth breaking down every item? Or should i only break down some? If so, which ones are worth breaking down and which ones are worth disgarding?

Also, what are the average prices for the elements once broken down? Which ones should i sell to NPC and which one should i stall?

If you want, rondo all items that you find that aren't plus or blue, dunno if you'll make or lose money because I haven't tried it, but it's an option. Then just stall plus and blues.

Yes it is worth breaking down all items, except of course rare drops. There is a post in the marketplace forum with element pricing for various servers.

I suggest if you get serious about elements you make a character dedicated to holding elements. Level him up to 5 so you get the inventory expansion.

Once you get to deg 5 tabs you should start thinking about getting into the stone market. Though the market for stones doesn't really appear till 7d.
