yes buying gold is illegal.

just curious as to how jm could tell if its from a friend? cause i dont buy or sell but i give money to guild members who are short atm cause there stall stuff is not sellin, and have received gold when i have been in similar situations wantin sos weps but needing to sell stuff.

ya i hope (that friend is a botter till now lvl38) i told him to stop he says no GMs will know but i think pritzel told him that he know but don't over do it
well now he stopped cuz he say his bot is working no longer lol

I find it funny how people feel it's necessary to buy gold (and support gold bots *frowns*). It's really not hard to earn gold in SRO. I've earned (not bought) plenty of gold to be able to afford SOS weapons at every degree since lvl 16 as well as a few SOS shields. Even after that, I still have enough to afford pots and to waste a quarter mil now and then on drug of typhoon or to just give gold to other players if I'm feeling nice.

Yeah, i personally suck at making money in this game for some reason. I only have a bit over a mil to spend, need the rest for pots. My drops suck too so thats one reason. But anyway on topic it would be wrong for you to buy from him too...

Assuming the friend bought the gold from a gold buying site... I wouldn't want to touch it. It's still supporting gold bots.
