Either way i doubt anyone will help him since we dont care if anything ppl who play sro are glad you got banned you shouldnt buy gold
cuz
goldbuying=more bots
more gold=expensive items being bought like nothing
expensive items being bought like nothing=prices not lowering
prices not lowering=ppl needing more gold
ppl needing more gold=goldbuying
goldbuying=more bots

Joymax must have some kind of statistics page where they can see stuff like:

* Highest lvl
* Most gold
* Latest large transactions

Etc Etc.

They also probably have a stat page with how long someone grinds for, vs down time between mobs. Not to mention suspicious programming running in the background. That don't seem to matter though. xP

Why is this question seems rocket science to you? A great many online games have a very easy way of tracking gold exchange, it's totally easy to track the exchanger himself, why too much gold given and nothing received, pops up red flags easily.

Buying gold is illegal, using bots is illegal, it kills the game, it kills every online games. SRO isn't quite up to par with other online games out there when it comes to tracking gold sellers but I'm sure that will slowly change.

As far as bots are concerned, they are the scum of all online games, you grind very hard, you are legit and you see some scum training near you, he comes and kills your target and moves right away to another and another and another, and then you slowly realize that, it's not a player, it's a moron low lifer who's cheating his way up the game.

Usually, pretty much 95% of those lamers are guys, funny how many guys are lamers, can't play by the book and yet, you have guys clinging to this notion of honor? Weird... where's the honor in cheating?

I'm glad your friend was banned, I hope many more of your friends are banned and you too if you buy gold also. Clean the game, make it fair for everyone to play it.

Oh, and to Silver0

"Well ppl do give away cash so they couldnt do it by large transaction

No, actually, there is no easy way, however you see it, the exchanges, even masked, are easily traceable. It's all about mathematics, numbers are very easy to track in online games. You can redflag a player, from that moment on, you can easily track all the exchanges that player does with anyone, it's a minute to sort out the real traders from the gold sellers, and there you are, a ban on the receiver but you can keep the exchanger alive so you can punish even more receivers, wicked, but effective at showing players that, whatever levels they are, they will eventually be caught if they cheat.

Wtf kind of lame reply is that? If you're the kind of lamer that consider it cool to cheat, then so be it. I'm the kind of player that thinks it's the loser way of going up levels.

Next time, instead of spamming a thread with out-of-topic replies, actually reply to the ideas, opinions I put forth, don't spam with needless replies.

ppl arent dying about it
ppl arent hurting cuz of it and if you are then maybe you need to take it down a bit

I'm not quite sure I'm following you there, does it state somewhere in my post that someone is about to die because of cheating? Does it state anywhere also that someone is hurting because of cheating?

What I stated ... at least I think I did... is that cheating eventually leads to getting banned, however a person wants to see this. Buying gold is illegal, it doesn't kill anyone, it doesn't hurt a person physically, it hurts players on the basis that it gives a unfair advantage to some against others. That's it.

Now, if someone's life is based on online gaming, if they are ready to die because they are suddenly banned, that's a serious problem also. But, I doubt that is what my reply was about?

Suspicious transactions of large amounts of gold?*shrug*[/quote]

Well that wouldn't be completly true. I lended out 15m once, and I never got banned. Oh and also what about people who quit. You gonna get banned for someone giving you 100m+ because they are quitting?

I have 2 suppositions :
1. They used their trojan horse to survey u
2. They used data check. They can check who u exchanged with (gold bot always has name like gkdhfh) for a suspicious number of gold (like 10M, 20M, 30M...). Or they can check your conversation with the bot...

gold buying in sro is a far bigger crime in my view than player bots.
but guess they can check it by tracking down transactions from certain characters (gold sellers).

One person giving another person a large sum once will get no one banned. Gold sellers have networks. The networks have predictable traffic. X bots grind in an area. Every day around a specific time they go exchange almost all their gold with character A that holds the gold. Character A is one of many such characters to try and keep it hidden. But once they know about A they can find out who he and all other such chars report to when someone wants to buy gold. Now they know who the botmaster/seller character is. From there they can track who the seller "gives" gold to. AKA the customer. And then work their way back banning all the noobs.
