Wolves

Post by Frostbite999 »

Are wolves worth it? I have the cash to buy a wolf but I was just wanting to get some opinions first. Are they really that good and are they worth it? I also have read about how people level them up without a name for profit. Does this actually work well from a realistic point of view or do you have to stall a high level wolf for days on end to sell it to. Thanks,

A wolf is a bladers best friend

for ints a wolf is (imo) useless

but wolves are fun so why don't buy them

I can't grind without my wolf :( Its helps me alot while grinding cuz if you grinding near aggro mobs it will attract them to him.The wolf helps kill mobs too  i'm a pure Str glavier. So in my opinion.A wolf helps alot :D

Pure str can benefit from a pet. Pure int up to lvl 30 can benefit from a pet. After lvl 30 a pure int will kill before a pet can attack so pets are useless and a drain of money at that point.

The 1 mil to get the wolf is the easy part, remember that down the road you will need hp pots, and food pots for it. If it dies it costs 50k to bring it back. It is worth it to me, as I am pure str blade, but I am sure that other people don't find it as useful. ^__^

Im pure int so my wolf hardly gets a bite in, by the time I aim nuke and shout my wolf was just getting to the target.. It's cool to have tho, I  my wolf.. So if you're anything other than pure int, a wolf would be helpful.

As far as profit goes... meh not really worth it to grind a wolf and re-sell.. just my opinion tho.

For STR (exception of bow) it's nice. I have a blader and a glaivier and for me a wolf really helps.

Selling for profit? No idea if it works.. It's not worth my time at least, takes too long.
Named wolves don't really stand a chance, and the nameless wolves they sell are really overpriced.

Im pure int and i still find my wolf usefull. It takes hits for me and draws some agro mobs closer together to attack it, allowing me to splash on them. Also when waiting for uniques on a horse its a must to kill all the annoying agros without gettin off your horse.

My opinion of wolves is not too good, because I'm a hybrid int under 30, and I was grinding earth ghosts with my LV17 wolf when this guy in red came by, I was about to attack him and then he did the spear throwing move at my wolf.. dead.

I haven't ressed it yet, argh grass of life crap.

Actually I Tried It
but not the other way Around Be Full Str and Get All 100% int in your gear and get a sword or Spear and youll do more dmg then a glavie or blade
