Basically the official lineage game is P2P.
However, many groups run private servers that are F2P. Also, in these private servers, the xp gained is often increased 3x from normal so people don't lose their minds.

played L2 privates for a short while. first server i accidently got on and quit after 2
minuts (i was lvl 28 and had 3kk gold; seemed it was the 5000x rate server),
and other one was boring cause there was like 3 ppl in game

I played Lineage on a private server once....WHERE THE HELL ARE THE MOBS?!
I have to run miles and miles to kill something -__- This game has nice characters but the grinding is shitty and hella boring.

*cough* If you use daggers your character will miss 80% of the hits :banghead:

( I never played Lineage on a real server, so i dont know if its the same there )
