WHats better for pure str blader....i cant decide

garment. they have enough defense with shield already.
garment makes them stronger against nukers too.

if you are for example at the moment of your sro career ONLY grinding in caves, maybe a protector set (just plain) it would save you some pots i think.....but i agree with cin, use garms for pvp

garm, ur pure str blade.. loads of hp and good defence, you dont need armour, go garm
