i got it working it had less battery then i originally though so it only took over night to die but tbh i dont wanna tinker, calling any support service takes too long and so on for the rest

Lols,
I had 4 ipods in total. 3 of them froze, (i.e Software AND hardware problems at the same time) thus there was no fixing em.
N the 4th one, a class mate of mind stole

to unfreeze put on hold then of and hold menu(or play)and the middle button i think.
i had 3 ipods in one year only one couldnt unfreeze so i took it bakc and got the new version of the nano with more memory
