Important alchemy info
Just had to say that most ppl don't realize the importance and value of 30% assimilation stones. Everyone thinks they're worthless but if you use them on a mostly white item with mostly bad stats, you have a fairly decent chance of something else going up. Not too long ago I used a 30% assimilation Str stone on my new SOM top that's got no good blues at all and it went to +3 str and assimilation happened and put int from 1 -> 4. That probably saved me 5 million in int stones easy
so yeah, don't sell 30% ones for cheaper cuz most ppl don't have full blue gear and could use the higher assimilation stones.

nah! sa they say... you're wrong... 30% assim stones are only good to use as the first thing you wanna change... cause if you made one thing at a good % there is no use in using a 30% stone to risc getting the one you did down again and waste that... so... using a 30% stone is only good when starting crafting an item... after that you'll need the 10% ones... so... imo the 30% ones are almost useless

why do you keep posting things YOU just found out that been already known by the common sro players, stop stating that MOST people don`t realize this stuff while YOU were the one who did not know it.
The same fact is that a 30% stone have more chance to ruin your stats while you already have done alchemy.
30% stones are great start stones (when your stats are still low) but after one stats have been maxed or is close to then they can be doom scenarios stones.

im just wondering....when a stat (mag atk lets say) gets assimilated, does it have the same chances of getting a certain new value as a stone's reset chances?
i.e. Philosophy stone - 50%chance of 0%mag, 20%chance of 22%mag, 10%chance of 41%mag, 5%chance of 61%mag, and the rest somewhere above 61...
would assimilation have those same chances?
Dunno if anyone will understand this question, but i found it really hard to phrase

in game you see all those guys with weapons and shields with a purple glow or some sort... is that from elixers, astrals or something else???
the glow of the weapons only depends on the +, so u need use elixirs (and if u want more than +4 u can use astral and inmortals)

Yeah assimilation works just like if you used the stone but with 0% chance of failing of course. So it's gonna do something whether it's go up or go down or stay the same. Actually I don't think I've ever had assimilated stat stay the same but maybe that's a coincidence. As for your incorrect statement about the odds...it's incorrect lol. If there's 5 stats for a 5D chest of 1 int 2 int 3 int 4 int 5 int (0 isn't a state, I've never had it remove all the int) then there's a 20% chance that each of them will happen.

Main reason why I sell 10% 20% or 30% stones at the same price now. People seems to have different perspective of things and whoever doesn't like 30% stones, there are some who prefer them. I've had several cases of assimilation with 10% stones before...so assimilation probability don't really mean much to me
