HEROES Season Finale - Your Thoughts

I love this freakin show... but the season finale was a bit disappointing. Granted they wanted to make it a cliffhanger, there were some things that really didn't make sense at all.

For one, Sylar can stop Parkman's bullets in mid air, but can't stop Hiro from running at him with a sword? Kinda of a pansy way to go down being the most dangerous man in the world and all.

Which brings me to my next point... you got Sylar... the main villain... on the ground immobilized... and you don't check to see if he's dead? Commonnnn...

I also didn't like the fact that Peter needed his brother to come and fly him away when he has the power to fly himself. It was good that he came around, but was it really necessary to kill off both brothers? But then again, it makes me wonder is Peter really dead? When Hiro travels to the future you see peter AFTER he blows up New York... meaning he survived the blast. Makes me wonder.

What happened to that hottie Candice? They just kinda left her on the ground. And Peter's mother, what about her? Doesn't she remind you of some sort of cracked out Sharon Osbourne?

I don't even know if anyone here watches this show. It'd be interesting to get some good replies.

I agree with everything you've said here. The ep was very disappointing and the end left many things desired.

The only thing I'm intrigued about is the man more evil than sylar. I was wondering what they'd throw in as the goal for S2 and "he" is obviously it. I don't think they'll reintroduce sylar til late in the season b/c he's not much of a threat besides the fact that he knows the future.

They'll use the girls ability to double the cast and a means to an end in taking care of the evil man.

The whole samurai doesn't seem very important at first glance but this is likely the story of the beginning of the first "hero." Most likely the samurai w/the Hero insignia.

Overall though a great season! Can't wait til sept.

yea was kind of lame...best season finale so far this year was Battlestar
Galatic: end of season 3,

i mean not only do we find out who the 4 out of the last 5 cylons are/or
could be :shock:

, but Baltar is found innocent in his trial :shock:

, the feelt
losses power as a HUGE cylon task force attacks :shock:

.

and....As Lee goes out in his viper who does he she..Kara "Starbuck" Thrace,
only problem is that she died 2 weeks before :shock:

...and she tells him
that she's been to earth and can show them the way :shock:

yea, the 2 final episode was good, earth wohooo

for heroes, i wished nathan didnt die but what can u do, as for peter he wont die thats obvious, i need to know more about the guy that is more evil than sylar, like the girl said when he thinks about him he can see her wooooooo sounds scary.

I just saw it.
More mysteries came but it makes you want to see the 2nd series.
The evil man is intriging (sp?) but it'll make a great season.

A round off applause for heroes, one of the few series I actually bothered watching this (or even the least few) year.

WTF! sylar is dead, he's eyes whited out, way to cliched for him to escape, they need a new enemy

Yeah, Claire is a hawtie too. I really like Noah (we know his name now :O) and the way his character started as some creepy bad guy with funny glasses and evolved into a hero in his own "non-superpower" way.

I think in Volume 2 Sylar will come back mid-season and do either one of three things... 1. Join forces with the new villain. 2. Stay solo and go after both the heroes AND the new villain. or C. The new villain will be so evil that he has to join forces with the heroes to stop him... then go back to being a badass villain himself. Either way I think he has the best character (other than Claire in the cheerleader outfit)

Still pissed Nuclear Ted died...

personally i think that sylar at some point in time is gonna join the heroes and then he's gonna turn on them, but of course the heroes are expecting it and all of it is a trap

Just seen the last episode.

The end starts with: Volume 2: Generations.

So we can excpect the new new season!! YAY!

I like the end until the real end. If you have seen it, you'll know what I mean.

All heroes gather around Kirby Plaza and Hiro (my favourite) kills the 'Boogie Man'.

Then Peter starts to glow and Nathan flies near him.

'There is another way..' And they fly off into space, and then BOOMSKIE!

So I guess Nathan is dead, and Peters body will burn into dust in the atmosphere, awww..

In Volume 2 Hiro is in 1670 (or something) outside Kyoto Japan, he is spotted by Kensei who carries the Godsend sign. Then there is a sun darkening (or how do you say that when the moon comes between Sun and Earth).

THE END.

So it's kinda lame, I really wanna know what happens next, but so do you =)

The reason sylar couldn't stop hiro from stabbing him because he wasn't expecting it, hiro materialized behind him and stabbed him

And I was expecting hiro to decapitate sylar after he stabbed him, but instead he left him on the ground to crawl away -.- As for peter and nathan, we know peter survives the blast, and nathan can fly at insane speeds, all he had to do was fly peter up there, and then fly the hell away within seconds.

Not true. The power only effects the environment around the user, not the user himself. Look back at all the times ted used his power and you'll see that I'm right.

Also not true. If you look into the last episodes sylar was embracing his future seeing ability. He already knew Hiro was going to slab him so he let it happen knowing that he prob would get away alive. (As long as the spinal cord isn't hit he has an hr or so to live.)

I know he won't die because of the explosion, even better proof of that is that
he was still alive in the future, but that was not what I was talking about..

After he survives he might still fall down onto the earth, and if his velocity is big enough he will burn, on his flight down. And since a human body is carbon and some H20 he will burn into dust. And how will he regenerate if his dust is blown with the wind from NY to China ^^

Sylar was alive in the future and Ando is dead.
The future has changed by killing Sylar.
Thus any conclusions from that aren't correct.

I wonder if the mother is the "evil" person. She surely isn't a nice charactar. Choosing sides, mocking Peter and making sure he's president while a few million people would've died.
