K, im making a fighter sword / blade? hybrid, what ratio?

Ive decided i wanted to make a hybrid sword/blade for the sake of pure str bladers do low damage, pure int sworders are just nukers (which i already havea spear nuker) i want one relatively in the middle, one that can take hits, and do damage without relying on nukes

Sword or Blade?

What should my ratio be? 1:1? 2str:1int 2int:1str ?? 6int:2str (outragoes but an example :p)

if ur gonna go 1:1 go spear, blade is worthless to u and so is sword cause ur nukes will be mediocre, and ur crits will be mediocre

spear has high int dmg and will help u a lot in power

2:1 3:1 int heavy will result in more dmg

its been proven that str hybrid does NOT work

edit: ignore my 1:1 spear, if ur gonna 1:1 go bow

wasn't my question, im going a hybrid blade, not sur if i want 2 str to 1 int, or 1 str to 2 int, i wont be using nukes, but i dont want to do low damage either, and i wouldnt mind taking some hits too.....

He answered your question by tellin ya hybrid str does not work. and if you were thinking more int then str ya would never want a phys wep like blade.

ur rerolling again, rofl

i have to agree with them, hybrid str blade sux. i have 1 in red sea, its not that good, hence i rerolled to persia. BUT, imo, if ur going hybrid, might as well go 1:1, pick sword coz of high mag dmg and do wep skills + fire + lite = for decent dmg, or + ice + lite = awesum tanking.

No no ivics, im not re rolling im setting up a sp farming accout on my main server (Tibet)

, you should mak a "alt" on tibet :p just like i have one on persia

So 1:1 is a good build? nothing like 2Int:1Str

and its already been established i will be using swords..

i plan to go 80 fire, 80 lit, 60 cold

probably try out pur str bower

well, my blader was 2:1, or close to it and its not that fun. since going 1:2 is not ur type i would suggest 1:1 the ultimate hybrid (havn't tried this one yet) lol

. use prot and u'll be ok, u'll be hitting hard with wep skills, plus u can nuke too

I REFUSE TO NUKE!

this dude gonna be a weapon skill damage deealer hat can hold some at tanking and do ok damage

im only getting the frost storm aoe nuke and first book of wolfs thunderbolt for rounding up da mobs

if i can level 2 chars at once, you can 2! i got my pure str bow 2 levels yestrday and my main 1 level

be on in about an hour, ill be home from school, ill go on persial...

well since u refuse to budge, str hybrid..... hmmm never had to consider it b4

my advice for 2:1 str heavy OR at least 7:1 str heavy
crap crits but better stabledmg okay crits (worse than pure str) but no
stable dmg

i dunno why people make hybird blade..
first:
blade is phisical so the weapon skills will be the main attack..
second: the blade weapon skills (bicheon or something ^^) is the lowset mp use so no need for large mp..
third:
if you afraid from the magical defence remember that u have a shield.. and with garment gear u will be ok..

i think he's just experimenting with the build, but i agree, 2:1 bladers aren't that fun, at least using my lvl 38 char with regular gears. it took forever to kill a giant without zerk.

to paraphrase a post I read a while ago:

"a 1:1 swordsman is just like a blader with higher damage and lower hp.
it still tanks well and deal higher non crit damage. he still didnt kill me, but i couldnt kill him either"

From what else I gathered the damage on it, though mayb higher than blade people still dont like it/find it too low. (biased->)also dmg vs ints are horrible XD
