safer way to thieve at low lvl?

Post by Farmer Oreo »

We all know you have to be a high lvl to start thieving seriously but what about lower lvls. you find your trader noob doing lets say a two star trade, you kill him take loot and instead of using a bandit den return scroll that takes an eternity use the immediate return scroll and avoid high lvls pay yumi the measly 2k and your done. simple right?
Im coming after you, and hell is coming with me.

Lower level thieves tend to jack loot from the higher levels then run off and scroll with it which irritates me the most. I wouldnt thief if I was under level 50.

unfortunately you cannot take loot w/o transport and when i said immediate i meant tat one that takes like 5 seconds and i think i made mistake i dont no if you can g2 yumi directly and teleport with transport. congrats tasdik although i would have imagined it would be hell trying to get past all the hunters

I was lvl 2 thief before I was lvl 30. The secret is to not be stupid. Most newbs wanna thief where they get poped over at the east ferry. Problem is that is where all the high lvls are. And the high lvls will toy with you there. The secret to low lvl thieving is to use the back roads where the high lvls almost never go. And not to be greedy. You got a decent 1 or 2 star? Start a scroll. Also knowing glitches like all the climbable mountains is essential. If you stand out in the open scrolling someone will spot you and they will kill you. If you are on a mountain then about the only thing you will die to is your own spawns.

Basic low lvl thiefing guide.

1. Never put on thief suit or summon transport untill you have goods.
Once you are in thief it is open season on you and a transport will only slow you down. So only put it on for good reasons. Like loose goods or spotting a multi star. There are ways to spot multi star without thief suit on. You just have to observe the number of spawns. If only one NPC spawns then it is 1*. If 2 NPC spawn it may or may not be multi star. You can suit up right then or wait one more spawn to verify. 3 NPC or more it is multi and you are good to go.

2. Start your scroll as soon as you are loaded and look for a spot to hide.
At lower lvls it is essential to hide. And it helps at higher lvls too. So learn all the little nooks and crannies in your chosen thieving area. Jangan has the most of any area so you are in luck.

3. Avoid going to places where high lvls commonly are.

That is all there is to it.

i haven't tried thiefing yet so can you check if this would work:

suppose we plan to lvl up a guild and we need gold, so like 5-6 guildies get 1 star each and you just follow them out. after looking for a nice place to hide, guildies drop all their loads & you put thief suit on and load up on transport, activate return scroll. 5 thieves will spawn and this ur guildies will help u out in killing them, after 5mins (?) u spawn back to thief den.

you get nice profit with minimum risk. wat u think?

All you would do is lose money. The loots would pay no more then the cost when you bought them and the transports and return scrolls would cost you money. It is not easy to make money as a thief unless you are lvl 76+ now a days. What my guild does alot now is get 5 or 6 guys out theiving and a couple hunters and our hunters kill the low lvl thieves and we take there loot as well as all the traders that come by. FTW.

Any thief that steals my loot will get a hunter from my union on his tail. Dont really care what level. I will even drop my loot just to follow him.

I almost never take loot, if you ask you can have all my loot and i will help you with the spwns. But as soon as somebody just takes it. Feck I am pissed.

Or you can hire a 1337 undefeated STR Nuker like me as your bodyguard, and there's a 110% guaranteed you won't die or you will get your full money back.
