What skills are a must?

Well, i'm not all to interested in pvp, really only pve.....though i'll do it ocassionally. Anyways, i'm just wondering what skills are a must for pve. Do you really need most of those buffs? It will cost alot more sp to get those buffs/trees, and wondering if it's really even needed for pve. I'm working on a archer btw. Thanks

one question... what do u pve for? oO im pveing to get better in pvp... anyways, the only buffs really necessary are the mag/ phy attack buffs - flame body & piercing force - while others raise defense or make u run faster. for pve a archer doesnt need ice for sure, but i think it would be quite cool to get ice though.

whats your build?

glavies need soul spear, ghost spear, flying dragon, fan storm, and passive-chains are if u have extra sp

blades need chains, castle shield, passive, sword dance, and maybe strike and smash if u have extra sp-knockdowns and hidden blades are staples

bows need anti devil(a MUST!!), arrow combo, hawk series, berserker arrow, strong bow, the increases shot thing, and the passive

nukers need either spear or s/s, and need lightning and fire nukes

buffs are a must in pvp, and good for pve since some raise your defense while others increases your strength. the grasswalk is a must since it increases run speed...the faster u can get to a monster, the faster u get exp
u can go ice, but i dont recommend it since the defense buff is a fixed number as well as the passive. if it were a percent, it could rock your socks

Idk, i've just always liked PVE a bit more then PVP. I like to kill stuff? lol.

some people just enjoy grinding more than showing their e-balls in a pvp

since you aim to go pve then ice imbue is awesome

light you want to move as fast as you can while doing your grinding since you got ice, damage is not that important

aim for a hybrid str
as you can see its quite low on sp
you gain about 80k sp if you gap from 1to80 (probably more just a raw guess) so you need to farm 120k.

i suggest pure str ice/fire light bow, u choose ice or fire, light is a must in every build

i play a hybrid light bow, i duno if it will play the same for pures but mayb edit a little and it would work for them. This needs very little sp, 2 gap or less ^^V

pve bow:
explosion arrow + autumn wind
imbune + piercing
anti devil
range buff
grasswalk
white / blue hawk
phantom walk (left over sp )
arrow combo (for early lvls)

priority in that order.

grind on melee mobs.
1 - devil mob#1
2 - autumn mob#2 splash #1
3 - (older book)autumn mob#3 splash both
4 - explosion mob#3, splash mob #2, mob #1 dies
5 - autumn mob#4, splash mob#3, mob#2 dies
6 - autumn mob#5, splash mob #4, mob#3 dies
etc.... you get the picture, just abuse splash dmg;
skills interchangable per situation~~ ^_^
depending on which books are available to your level ofcourse you just adjust

the only buff i use in pve is grasswalk and occasionally phantom. i use all my defence + atk buffs right before i start zerking a giant. but the grasswalk is the most important buff for grinding because the less time you waste on running the more time you get for killing thus more exp per hour.

making it hybrid will give him more damage with ice than a pure str (talking about average not highest damage)
light is a decent must for pve but not for pvp especially when you are pure str.
if you are completely lazy then this is the perfect build for you

Ok, so this is kind of what i'm thinking. And this is set up to farm at lvl 64, so the trees stop at 55.

Does that seem like a good build to farm at 64?
