PURE INT VS PURE STR

i don't really know... but i was just thinking smthing.

PURE INT = REALLY HIGH DMG DEALERS but they're very low on HP
PURE STR = THEY CAN TAKE REALLY HIGH DMG AND BE ALIVE but they're too low on MP and mag dmg.

it's ok . a pure str character can afford much damage and stay alive. i like this:) i am doing my quests without looking the hp bar;) but i wonder smthing else. on a pvp with a pure int character (after lvl 30 that an int character can nuke) wich are the possibilities to stay alive after a nuke? i talk about a pure str vs pure int at the same level or pure int some levels higher. and i talk about NPC items on both.
i know, a pure int needs some time to nuke and if the pure str is holding a glavie with the flying dragon hit could easily kill maybe the pure int character. but if pure int nukes him what the possibilities are to survive?

i hadn't ever a pure str character over lvl 30. (b.t.w. this is my 1st pure character)


may someone tell me if he has tried it?

please i don't want answers if someone is not 100% sure about it or hasn't any logic at all. i hate reading shitty answers (if you have read many stuff in this forum and have some brain in your head you can understand what i mean).

hehe, normally the pure str would win with same lvl, same mastery lvl, same gear. the nukes can do big dmg but not big enough to kill a pure str in 1 hit. with a high % of autopot the nukes can't kill a pure str. on the other hand a crit or two from a pure str glaive is able to kill a pure int.

i should go for pure str yeah its true that pure int can do magicaldamage but hp is too low pure str can kill it easily just adding force+skill+critical pure int should be 1 hit

i'm lvl 29 pure str fire glavier & when lvl 31 pure int spear nukes me the dmg is about 1800 & my hp is 2500+ so with auto pot i don't die BUT
with 1 critical & then any other skill shes dead & shes 2 lvls higher than me
so if i'm the same as her...... i think i would win

I'm pure int.
The hardest opponent I've face has been bladers. Besides that with the right tweaking I can kill any pure str that can't* block my nuke.

At level 50 I killed a level 54 pure str glavie . It took me a few tries but switching between a shield and spear I was able to beat her (We fought about 8 times and sometimes she'd land a crit on her first hit and kill me with her second skill).
2 nukes and a lion shout.

Bladers on the other hand I have a really hard time. And at this point I really can't kill one until I'm farmed.

you really start to sound idiotic the more you post about str nuker, there are times when there should be a silly sound up in those brains ringing "hey dude the joke is not funny anymore".
sell your gear and get normal gear like everyone then we will see if your trash talking about being strong as a str nuker still will be the same.

I'm pure int.

Sure Bladers are really hard BUT one thing i learned in all the time i play this game is "Time in Pvp is HP" Bladers are hard for all even if they're pure int or pure STR (when i say blade i mean both blade or sword). the shield is pain in the ass:P but a sword can't deal too much dmg as glavie does. so it needs more and more time. (glavie has combos too at high levels).

yesterday i had a pvp with a pure int character ( i am on pure str/garment) i am lvl 31 and he was lvl 4*. he nuked me and the result was only 3500k dmg. the truth is that he killed me... but the dmg he dealt to me wasn't the one i was expecting... only 3.5k HP. i died by the first blow cause my hp was a little lower than 3k. at last i pvped also with a pure int at my level same gap. i won ^^.

well i think that will be changing when that new ice power that swaps HP damage to MP

And anyways i have bet a few pure str guys at the same level as me and i have no sos or anything.

i think its wrong to base pur int vs pur str assuming same lvl coz assuming same amount of time, pur int would be higher lvl than pur str, that's just the way it is. (unless at cap ofcors)

so pur int +1 - 3 lvls vs pur str ? i'd still go to who is the better player. afterall, its the hands behind the char (assuming of cors same crappy gear). but to answer ur question, 31 pur str glav vs 34 pur int s/s, glavs win due to hp + mid pot. this could change at higher lvls since +1 int increase mag damage by a lot more than +1 str to phys dmg.

man i found a m8 on Athens Server (i am playing on Athens) At last a pure INT lvl 80 that i know:) lol he made it lvl up to 80
i asked him some things about his character (he's 100000% pure INT) he's wearing SOSUN protectors mixed with Armor pieces all +3 and +4 Full blue. he told me that he can't beat a Pure STR player. his balance at mag. atack is 100+% .... is he joking?

it's ok. pure INTS can kill faster, lvl up faster cause of faster killing. i agree, Pure Ints are REALLY high dmg dealers. i agree too. BUT PURE STR builds made to afford high dmg and NOT FOR dealing great damage.


The only sure is that pure characters deal more damage than hybrids.
Pure STR = HIGHEST critical ever
PURE INT = HIGHEST DMG ever

Hybrids don't have a strong point. even if they die a little harder than pure ints or maybe deal some more damage than pure STR they're not so powerfull to kill str neither int characters. at their level.

yeah they lvl faster but they have to farm more too.. so to just asume that in the same amount of time they'll be higher lvl.. i dunno...

and about pure int vs pure str...well with npc gear.. pure str would win.. easy.. no doubt..

that's why pure int.. needs +str and +hp on his gear.. if he does that.. he will own.. cause he can tank a little and do insane dmg...i beat glavies all the time.. bladers too.. (but i have sos now, before it was really hard.. just a pot fight..)
Funny thing.. i'm 56 now.. and i have a 9gap.. so i changed my personal guildname to pureINT_9gap and now in pvp.. all the lvl 40+ think they can beat me bunch of noobs.. they heard pure int s.ucks.. so they think they can stand a chance.. i just wait a while.. start laughing.. and if they don't stop.. i ghost spear them.. dead ..
believe it or not.. i can still easily take a lvl 53 fully farmed glavie... same lvl becomes harder.. won 2out of 5 fights.. with the last guy i fought. But wait till i'm fully farmed.. only 1 more lvl of farming.. then 0gap to the cap
