Why are you happy about a ban list of 2/20 servers?

Personally I'm not all that impressed or happy with this bot ban list.

Like people have said, you ban the bot, they come back.

Majority of these people were probably gold bots, and these couldn't give a flying ass less if they get banned, they invest no money and barely anytime. Use a free bot and let it run.

I personally am not a programmer nor do I understand what some programmers have explained to me. But this much is clear, there are some obvious ways that Joymax can do to change the game to prevent third party programs. Seems the solutions are actually not that complex or hard, Joymax just needs to give a shit and do it.

I won't be happy until some anti-bot measure has been implemented. TMinjection on Aege for example. Was banned in the last ban on Aege. He's now on a character called TheTradeMark is already 65+ last I saw it with full buffs, which suggest it has already been SP farmed.

VietNuker, di_vao are a few others that have been botted just in case the other characters VietLover and Devo are banned.

These botters have already taken precautions, just in case their main accounts do get banned. Seen VietKiller botting already, now that VietNuker is 80. Its pretty insane, banning bots is not the solution.

Prevent botting, that's the solution, want prevention, not after_the_fact bandade fixes.

Well its a start at least. About what 2% of lvl 80's are legit if that. Imagine if they banned EVERY bot in iSRO, the game would be dead as shit for a while, no high profile guild wars or pvp. They got most of the gold botters, sides they are the lag. Now JM needs tofind away to ban all clientless goldbots before they log on.

If this was the first major bot ban list, or if this was a solution after the bot problem became significant, I would agree.

Botting is not new. Banning bots has already proven to be poitless.

Good Example. Bplease.

Bplease: originally from Aege in a pathetic guild called NetWarriors, he gets banned for botting. Moves to Athens. Gets banned for botting, he was already 6x. Gets banned again. I believe gets banned again, saw some post from him saying JM 3: Bplease 0. In the recent bot ban list, couldn't help but notice Bplease name there again. Seems the bot bans are effective, huh?

Bots have infested tSRO, kSRO and cSRO. Bots were so effective in tSRO and cSRO, that these bots were translated for the iSRO, and we have what we see today. I remember first time I saw these bots in iSRO, was so surprising when it was the Chinese guilds that first used them...

Its been almost 3 years since Bots have been destroying the game. The bots have destroyed SRO to the point that in tSRO, they don't even bother. Talked to TAIWAN members from Aege, these players came to play since they were 80 in tSRO already and bored during out 60 cap. They have told em 98% of their server bots. cSRO, not much better.

For some reason many of you think in kSRO they don't bot or have botting problem. They do, and its worse, barely any "player" plays there. They have been at the 90 cap for almost 3 years now, 2.5 years running with no updates until recently, most of them have quit. What is left is a botting community.

iSRO is quickly leading to this end also. Only problem with iSRO is these servers have to accomodate an international population, which only compounds the login problem. iSRO has been hit double, with bots ruiining our experience and now we can't login.

This was not a start, this just another lame attempt by Joymax to pretend that they are doing something about this problem.

Try again Joymax, and this time with something that gets results....

These people are impossible to satisfy. I gave up the bot war and started having FUN instead of jacking off to the thought of bots being banned and guess what..I have fun

1hp, is comprised of players who have agreed to continue to play the game without the use of third party programs.

But many of them continue to play because they have realized that its useless to fight the bots, now find ways to have fun...

This was possible when we could log in. Probably with you saying, I gave up on bots, just have fun now is...

When do you have fun if logging in is an impossible mission?

While you you may criticize my post, I won't take offense to it, just means to me, you don't care about the game or its community.

If you want change, actual fixes to the game, yes you can't stop complaining. YOu can't stop expressing your frustration. You don't let Joymax feel they have done an adaquate job with something that has done nothing. So yes I am not satisfied. Its not impossible to satisfy my complaints.

While you sit back and smile with this bot ban list and pretend somehow this problem has been fixed, I hope the rest of the community continues to petition to JOymax, continue to complain until we see real results.

This is not enough, when it does nothing to prevent these gold bots and bot players from creating new accounts.

How long do you think it takes a fully farmed lvl 70 to get to 80? Took me 4 months to lvl 10 times.

Why do you think this is impossible.

During one GT session, at lvl 79, you can get 8-12%. I don't understand why you think getting to lvl 80 grinding by hand means you have to sacrifice your entire day and night, considering the GT only lasts for 180 minutes.

But I do love how in response to my posts, all you can do is insult how I choose to spend my free time.

8-12%......I call bullshit on that one buddy. At 68 gold ticket and fully farmed with non stop grinding and one combo kills I get 3% an hour or 9% a GT. Anyway, im done here.

Lets ask my lvl 80 friends that get like 2% all day grinding. Perhaps if you took time to do simple math you can see that your numbers are VERY over inflated.

By your numbers you can do lvl 79-80 in less than 10 days right?

Once again you insult somehow who enjoys playing the game...getting to the lvl cap.

I believe this game was designed so that it is in fact possible to reach lvl 80 using a GT and Pet. But then, if it was impossible, Joymax is certainly playing a sick joke on the iSRO community.

But that's ok, change the subject, take away from my posts and what I have expressed by trying to infer I myself use third party programs.

EDIT: Yes its hilarious when someone who plays the game enough to reach lvl 80 complain about bots. Because its so funny when you invest time and money into a game and not be able to log on, HILARIOUS

You're good with math. You are exactly right, you can do 79-80 in 10 days.

lol, if you can only get 9% at lvl 68, you are truly an awful grinder.

At lvl 72 I was getting 15-20% on GT. And btw, asking your guildmates will do nothing for this Forum. We all know by reputation NetWarriors is probably the biggest botting guild on Athens.

BTW from I get more XP on GT time killing generals with a 3 level gap than your "friends" at lvl 80. ROFL, sry to hear your mates only get 2%. I have guildmates who get more % than that and they are on a 9 gap.

Any good player can get 15-20% grinding on hunters at lvl 72 on GT.

And any lvl 68 who only gets 9% on GT time with a zero gap is truly an awful grinder, its actually pathetic.

BTW since you know SOOO much about grinding speeds and how long it takes to lvl.

It takes 3-4 days for a bot to lvl from 79-80. Takes me 4 months to lvl 10 times. Would take a bot less than a month. But GG, nice to see you express your vast amount of knowledge, and using that knowledge to infer I am a botter.

9% an hour at 68 is due to too much wall humping

and yeah, 20% at 72 within the GT's 3 hour is not a problem depending on your build

Braxton you need to work on your numbers there a little

But to get back to OT

I don't think any legit player with the slightest reason is happy about it. There were a lot of bots banned, which is great, but without any prevention to stop them for coming back there's no point really.

Joynax has failed again unless they will continue bringing a list like this every week from now.

As long as Greece gets a massive bot ban, i'll be happy.

Banning Goldbots is basically useless though, since their only purpose is to earn gold....starting over isn't even a hassle.

Lv 70 asnvdfdad and lv 1 asfdgdfjh both take up the same amount of server space and can both get tons of gold each 24 hour day of botting.

anyway i am glad joymax is doing something but i do have to agree with the topic starter its just useless and probably a big time waste for Joymax with what they are currently doing
