Should I delevel my fire?

Post by Rainigul »

You know how with the 90 cap light ice nukers are gonna own? Well, I'm wondering if I should delevel my fire right now and save money and sp, or if I should wait a little while?
Yup, pretty much sums it up :)

BTW, does anybody know when we're gonna get 90 cap and new skills? Thanks.

yea, i'm having the same problem, except i'm just starting my first nuker, so im still choosing the 3rd tree (between ice and fire).

fire gives more dmg while ice gives more protection and cooler nukes and stuff XD. but the new ice skill seems too overpowered.

Yeah.
I KNOW I'm gonna change from fire/light to just light, but I dunno if I wanna switch now or what.

I'd suggest to you though to not raise fire at all, by the time you get to a ripe age, I"m pretty sure the new skills will be out (I have faith joymax will release them pretty soon).
I'd just delevel fire right now, but I'm already at that ripe pvp age :S

Maybe you should try 90 ice/ 90 light/ 90 fire/ 30 weapon.

Who knows how that'd work?

for a int hybrid s/s? not very well. and i actually want to use my flashy bicheon skills :P the problem with ice is that it's dmg is too low when used on a int hybrid. just cant compete with fire. however i'll be the last man standing, hehe.

People put down the hybrids too much :P

I'll be using light as main imbue and attacks, but I'll also get ice for backups & stuff. Ice is mainly for defence and mana shield.
Yeah, I might use bicheon skills too... Might.
Ice + Heaven chain = Frozen enemy.

In the new update, everyone's gonna be cold/light nuker.
Otherwise cold/light/fire nuker with no weapon.

I'm keeping my fire hehe. Maybe i'll switch to cold for my 2nd char but for this one it'll definitely stay fire. who knows... maybe cold isn't going to be that good after all.

consider this: drop fire to get cold cos apparently cold is gonna be awesome after update, then another update changes things so that fire gets more awesome than cold.

I have a feeling we're gonna get it pretty soon.

Different sro types don't follow the same patterns and formulas.

KSRO gets every little update first.
CRSO gets bigger updates fast.
Blablabla
ISRO gets huge updates eventually.

We may not get every little thing, but when it comes to big updates, I think joymax is pretty on top of it.

If you're int, you don't really need fire.

I mean, imbue and nukes are nice, but you already have high magical defence, and more physical damage isn't gonna do much.

fire damage will be always the highest wondering why you would not want it a s a build that is made to make as high as possible damage
the looks are fun indeed but in the ownage way you are thinking, fire will be still the best choice

It's not. They're talking about the new ice buff which takes a percent of the damage your taking and transfers that to your mp bar instead of taking away your health essentially letting int builds tank a bit.

a bit?? any pure int that can tank for longer than 3 sec against 4 pure str can tank more then just.. a bit..

That's all speculation. There probably is more on the skill we don't know yet. Like short duration and long recharge. Anyways, if Joymax made the skill to allow pure int to tank, than tell me, why would anyone pick any of the str builds anymore?

It lasts 120 seconds supposedly, I have no idea what the cooldown time is.

I also wanna know if I should be spear or not, because I might as well switch everything at once, huh?

If the ice buff really works as well as it seems, it will render the need of shield for full ints rather obsolete, you might as well go spear for full dmg.

Yea if ur changing might as well change everything ^^

o btw rain i think im gonna delvl fire too>< i'll be a light/cold spear nuker ^^

and im having a temptation to put in some str points >< like 30 of them

im gonna be 90light, 90 cold, 90 spear

Yes... Come to the darkside of hybrids
I wouldn't add 30 right away, I'd start out 18, that way you're 90% at 70 or 80, forgot which.
I added 40, so I'll have 85% by 80.
I've heard that 30-35 is really good (remember wfcxcptgrr? He made a new char with 35 str, because his main had 36 str  ).
Yeah, you should be light/cold nuker like me :) If you want, you could keep fire, but then you couldn't have a weapon :S
I think I'm gonna switch to spear because you're spear and you're cool :D, plus with mana shield, shield will pretty much be pointless.
Although I'm still not sure about it.

maybe i should just stick with fire? lol, so undecided.

Switch to ice. They're not gonna patch it...
But you don't have to switch just yet, but I'm gonna switch now for leetness and for game-enjoyability.

im not switching, im lvling. right now im only lvl28 and both my ice and fire skills are at lvl19. so im still think which to lvl. i mean 19lvl of extra tree is not gonna cause any trouble till the 100 cap.
