I've taken up the task of being a mod in the irc channel, i always have irc runnign anyways, multitask and whatnot, hence the fact i banend the bot guy. anyway. I gotta poke bambski to sort a few things out for the channel (maybe take the owenership off him) and lay down some more rules
i might make a new thread of rules + guide post for it once its all done

I don't know alot about it or whats involved. Or if it could be moderated from assholes.
Do tell.
y'get those with ops, they mute, ban, kick and do all them oderating, can change topic title and whatnot.
peopel with 'voice' can bypass a channel mute. this is generally used for special people that arent mods, ie veterans, a contributor or something.
people need to be registered to have auto op/voice (the server robot automatically op/voices you)
i dont know how to register on quakenet, it's all so odd since ive used freenode before
channel mute is almost never used. it's lame, every1 shoulda be able to talk.. only spam bots get mute

If u like i can help you with that.. When im home ( thats mostly 14:00 till > i go to bed ) And its always running.. + i've been moderating bigger chans for ever Well im Deacon in the chan, i've seen u !

i dont know why thwey're not in there at the moment.
I'm trying to run the thing but the channel owner is hardly there anymore.
I might go ahead and move it to another server where i can adminstrate it better, i did PM Ryoko bout this, but he's been busy lately
Netsplit, happens sometimes, the bot's will return shortly after. Anyway, the channel seems dieing to me.. It's usually you, me, plus and bambski only being active there.
after you are login, and is new to the server, there is a webpage showing all the X (server bot) commands and the level of Op access needed.
the only downside is that channel registration is troublesome. first, register at channel (requirement: 10 supporters; lol i can be one, im registered. EDIT: i can also help in finding all the other 9 supporters), then u have to wait for a certain period for the application to be approved (requirement: active channel)
i was a local ircop on other net (auradirect.com; which is dead now), but i quit it since undernet is too good for me to move =P

the channel seems dieing because no new peopel are coming in, they expect a bussling chat constantly, and then some peopel dont know how to use irc.
I'll work on a guide when im not tearing my already balding hair out over RL issues.
lol ok i will be joining as a regular now (:
if there is a need, i can also help/edit the guide or so on. im still able to handle simple irc commands such as perform on join/background/colors etc. but i can't do popups LOL
ok i just used quakenet, and it's really really homo =/ no offence to those quakenet regulars =P
HAHA i would recommend undernet still, after so much.
you can actually check who have operator access from the website, applications of channels, file complaints on the net, check X commands, change password etc.
for help, go to #zt (to report misconducts), #cservice (to ask for help on X or the website) or #undernet (to ask questions on the net itself)
