I haven't done any alchemy at all. i got a nice sos bow lvl 24 and was hoping to +3 it. how many wep elixirs on the average would it take?
also, i was thinking of adding int/str since i got some tabs on it. but not sure if it be worth it, meaning if i fail them and mess up the white stats. i play on persia, meaning if i would rather sell them to be able to afford better gears later on than fail/fail/succeed/fail.
I dont use lucky powder for +1, and I do from there on.

do u guys know the diff between no + with like +1/2/3? i haven't seen a + sos 24 bow in my server so i can't compare. i know that sos bows have higher stats that same lvl reg. bows.
also, i got a nice protector sos set (bought them for cheap) and was thinking of farming at lvl 24 with the sos bow. i can't afford a sos 16 so wasn't able to farm that much at bandit. my question is what is the best mobs to train at lvl 24? horses or hungyno (or watever) ghost becoz of the wind 2/4?

I estimate the odds decreasing at a rate of +1 to the denominator of the probability in fraction form....in other words +1 is 1:2 odds, +2 is 1:3 odds, +3 is 1:4 odds. And lucky powder seems to -1 from the denominator so +1 is 1:1 and +2 is 1:2 and +3 is 1:3 so the odds of getting straight from +0 to +3 with lucky powders is 1 in 6 but that doesn't translate clearly into a number of elixers since the odds stop twice during the 1 in 6 period.
In my experience though it takes about 10-15 elixers on average.

+1 is always a guarentee w/ lucky powder, unless ur trying to free inventory space, then dont use lucky powder, but if u still believe that +1 w/o lucky powder will go +5 or w/e easy, then ur dead wrong & pretty FSSOB
The first time I tried alchemy at lv 24, I had 24 shield elixirs, my shield was already +2.
By the end of all those elixirs, I had a +1 shield. it NEVER got to +3, I don't even think it got back to +2.
Later, at lv 52, I got all my gear to +2/3 in one try, none of it failed. I also blued all my stuff and got +100% int on most of my items.
id say it will take u about 5-8 weap elix and the int/str stones would be like 3-4 stones minimum just use 10% assim stones and u should be good

48 for a 8d lucky powder, is generally the same price as a acc/shield elixir, so your idea is flawed.
