What do you most like in a guild?

Post by Roweena »

I've got a little guild (lvl4) and I'm trying to get more guild members. I'd like to know more opinions about what motivates you most to join a guild (besides guild master being your friend).

In poll I've wrote the most common reasons for joining a guild. I want to know witch one you like most and why.

Please comment, don't just vote.

If you have any suggestions let me know. :)

Thanks.

In my opinion it is not the trade runs or the guild wars, it is knowing that you will have fun people to talk to while you are grinding like there is no tomorrow at some bot crowded area, that is what is most important to me =p

You can get tons of, people to join if you hunter for them while they are trading some times...and plus if everything else fails u can always go to jangan and get nooblets :) and hope they are "hardcore" and "active"...and also talking to people helps too, i got a few 54+ to join just by saying "hi, nice weapon"

Never tried to help ppl out by hunting 'em. I guess I'll try that too.

And the "hardcore, active nooblets" are hard to find :P tried it once and all of 'em quitted SRO.

Now I'm trying to recruit high levels (52+).

Meh... I been in a few guilds only, and I didn't liked any of them. They were just doing their own thing, guild/union chat was just used for 'join pt 8914 2/4' or 'WTS *insert item*'. I left because I was fed up with it. Rather no guild than a boring guild.

The only guild I liked was Stealth on Pacific, too bad I moved to Rome because Pacific transformed into Lagtropolis.

About the suggestions part, you can think of little events and activities to do with your guild. Like Hide & Seek or whatever. Just ask them to think of fun stuff to do, you'll get good ideas within no time. :)

But just doing more than just grinding without saying a word is a great thing already.

in my guild, almost (99%) of us are in the same country, and we're quite closed in IRL. so basically when we are in game, we always chat alot while grinding/leveling. do jobs, either thieving, trading or hunting. although we're like a small guild in our server, but its ok for us. FUN > everything.

Guild/Union Events we have once a week a Guild/Union event someone gets selected to organise a event each week.

My favourite is VIP union team wars event or naked 0 star suicide trade run race.

These kind of things can make guild members enjoy the guild more also gets people to notice your guild.
