noob questions
i have so much crap in my inventory that i probably don't even need. most of them are what i collected or got from drops. almost all of them are items that can be mixed in alchemy. however, i don't know how to use them..maybe because i don't have any voids or don't know how to get them. my main question is: what are the items that are important or worth keeping in my inventory because i'm sick of my inventory[expanded] being almost full all of the time..

what i keep in my inventory is pots, quest items, stuff like that.
all i dont need in my inventory i put in my warehouse or i sell it to
the npc / other players.
what i keep in my inventory is mostly elements, items with high + /
blues / sox, important tabs/stones.. thats about it a think.
but really the trick to clear your inventory is
1) rondo the alchemy items
2) sell worthless items to the npc
3) put elements in your warehouse
4) stall the rest (and elements if you can spare em)
5) put the stuff you didnt sell in your warehouse
cin's answer is good, but I'll add some detail since I'm close enough to a noob myself to remember there are some pretty basic things that might seem obvious to some, but might not be to you based on how you worded your questions.
Alchemy items can be broken down with void rondos which you buy at the grocery seller (where you get jewellry, go to the last tab). Thing is you'll need spots in your inventory to hold the elements, but this is worth doing because selling elements can be quite profitable (or else you may want to use them yourself to enhance your equipment).
You can also break down normal equipment for elements, rather than selling them to NPCs. This requires a destroyer rondo which is more expensive, but still usually worth while.
If you have items you want to keep for later, but don't want them clogging up your inventory, you can put them in storage. Talk to the NPC right beside the dragon fountain in Jangan. It'll cost a bit to put items in, but it's worth it to free up inventory spots. It's free to get stuff out later. Certain items can't be put in storage.
Anything else that seems valuable that you don't want, sell in a stall. This is up to personal choice, but for me it's usually extra BLUEs, tablets, and elements.
