I could understand this if you dont live in the states or the uk but if you do you should find a new job maybe?mushrooms wrote:Ok, what about people that don't want to use gold tickets? There are those of people who are willing to pay to make it easier to log in, but can't afford to pay as much as $13 dollars a month. Maybe $5 dollars a month.
I know my job pays 500$ a week :\.

oh and usa and uk are the only country's being able to buy gold eh? i can't blame you for not knowing, but there are other wealthy countries outside the usa aswell... take whole europe, Asia's economy is growing to outdo yours,... this might be new or shocking to you, but thats how it is...
so, time for you guys to enlighten me: how can one buy a 1000€ (about 1350$) pc -if not more expansive- without being able to buy for 5$ of silk??? or for all you kids: without being able to give their children some MONTLY pocketmoney off 5$?
I don't have kids and I don't plan on having them and I payed 3grand for my pc which is the least of my worries when it comes to money.
I wasn't saying all countries are poorer im mentioning that people who live in the states and the UK shouldnt have a problem with spending 15-30$ a month if they have a decent job. Since I don't have the place to say if people make alot of money or not in others
Not to mention alot of the people who play arent parents and are living with a roomate or going to college, too.

people going crazy and dont read shit make me mad...
-ok they'll give a special LOGIN acces to people buying ticket
-You STILL can play for FREE
-No ADDITIONAL COST
I dont think they'll make a new server for it... or they'll have to amke one for each server, can't make one for every server... imagine the sosun traffic that would happen...
So how much each month you have to pay to be able to play?
and when they gonna release the new servers?!
I'm waiting in my cold cell, when the bell begins to chime.
Reflecting on my past life and it doesn't have much time.
'Cause at 5 o'clock they take me to the Gallows pole,
The sands of time for me are running low.
Can it be that there's some sort of error.
Hard to stop the surmounting terror.
Is it really the end, not some crazy dream.

it still seems that some poeople don't get it. there will be no new servers just for grinding. the game will still be free to play.the only change will be for those who buy a gold/silver ticket.they will have a reserved slot on there server so they can log in first try if they have a gold/silver ticket activated.nothing else would change.it is just to prevent loss of time on your ticket from not being able to log in. I have lost days from my ticket not being able to log in.they just want to keep there paying customers happy thats all.
If it isn't broke, mess with it till it is.

Huh. Perhaps MD and the others in the US office read the lawsuit thread where I pointed out that by selling an item and then not allowing players to use it or not refunding the lost time might draw the ire of US State's attorney offices. Took them a while to check into that. I noticed they started refunding lost GT time not long after that thread too. Or did they do that before? The recent refunds were the first I'd seen in 2007 at least, I don't know if they did before that.

There used to be a ton of people always asking to be refunded for their tickets and then one day they just actually started to put them in your storage ^.^
Some people say their cup is half full, others say it's half empty, but my cup was stolen when I was 3 O.o

Whats wrong with me, a gold ticket buyer, getting a 100% guaranteed log-in button whenever I want to spend what I paid for?
k, let me explain, not everyone uses item mall. that means if they reserve spots, its either harder to log in for non-item mall users or it will be more laggy. either way it suks coz i dont use item mall and im not planning to. its a free game after all, isnt it.

its already frigging hard to login now anyways. if JM ever does this it really wont make a difference to the non GT players.

How can they guarantee a better chance of logging in? Are they going to disconnect botters, or multiclienters, or stallers? Or maybe legit f2p players?
My real question is this:
If they can give a better chance of logging in by doing one of the first three options listed above, then why can't they ban the botters and multiclienters? Why is it so much more difficult to just do the bannings up front, than to charge us to get into the game?
Seems to me that they know who is botting, and show us a little ban list every now and then to make it seem like they are doing something. In the end I would have to say this all comes down to money I guess. Bot companies obviously have the upper hand in the banning, as they get paid, and must pay joymax to keep the servers bot infested.
Does anyone else notice that we seem to be getting the short end of the stick?
