My char got stuck, please help if u know how >.<

so... ytd me and my guildmate were fooling around by one of the pillars at hotan guild storage... u can use phantom to get in the left 1... at 1 time i got that ???? error... so now when i try to log on my char i get dc when it loads or if i use phantom to try to get out of the pillar i get ???? error... my other char works fine and i also reinstalled sro so thats not it

i reported this to bug report but i got no answer yet.... has something like that happen to anyone before and what do i do?

i tried it and it wont work coz i get dc as soon as my char is loaded and if i try to be faster then dc and use phantom to get out i get ??? error, i also cant get out by clicking with a mouse or using keyboard i just get dc

restart game and then use return scroll. Then you shouldn't have the loading bug.

Morning Dew is a Biotch! I have a friend who is lv. 68 also got stuck at hotan guild storage. DC when u log in. I go and ask on official forums and she answe me wiith "you got offesive name"

and aask for the location + server to report to JM!!!!

i dont think u understand what im saying here

when u log on it takes a second or 2 to load ur char and stuff around u, as soon as thats done i get dc i tried to scroll but it wont work since i dced already, my guilmates only see the msg i logged off not the one when i logged in

@cool2fool... i reported my name and location to bug report they didnt answer yet and my char is still stuck there

Is your char high lvls??? T_T it suk, Morningdew could report it to JM but JM could carelesss.......

and im on my lvl 28 now coz they r obviously too lazy to help and dont care

ppl who got stucked reported it to joymax... u cant do more, but u need to wait a lot before u get hepl from them :/

If you are in a lvl 5 guild, and not the gm, ask the gm to use the guild recall item. Not sure how it works, but its worth a try I guess.

i am in a lvl 5 guild and not gm, that would be nice if i could stay logged on to my char long enough for my gm to do that... but i get dc or ??? error second after i log on... only thing so far i can think of to get my char out of there is for jm to move it... maybe inspection would move my char coz it does that sometimes so i was waiting for it, and inspection never happened

Nah nothing will work no scrolls nothing sad to say.

Best you can hope for and yes they occasionally do do it is for your character to be reset at it's current spawn city ie. Hotan i shoudl think.

Just keep putting pressure on them Hell, say you buy silk and they will do it.

my char got stuck like this before. After selecting my char I held down the up arrow so I could move slightly. I got the error again but the next time i restarted I was able to actually see my char without the error, although if I moved I would get the error. I then restarted again and this time i didn't move and just used a return scroll. Hope this works for u.

i do buy silk lol, and ill keep trying but i dont expect some fast reaction... after all were talking bout joymax -.-, i hope eventually they do get it unstuck... till then i guess ill just play my other char

@shredking, i tried moving with arrows it didnt work, ill try again who knows... thanx for the tip

I don't know about the stuck thing, but I had the problem where eveytime I'd log in, my char would load (paritally sometimes) then I'd get disconnected, what I read somewhere, and it seemed to work, was to log into your account, press the create a new char button, let that load up, then cancel out and back to your char selection screen and select the char you want to play.

I dunno if that works or not, but hey it's worth a shot isn't it?

I've heard of people getting past this by trying over and over again until it doesn't crash. But I've also heard you're insane to keep doing the same thing repeatedly and expect a different result. Worth a shot right..

@MasterChief, she said she had 2 guildmates log in on diff comps. Her char is stuck in a glitch, thus not allowing proper rendering of the graphics, which results in a C++ runtime error. So ya the best thing to do is select your char and hold up arrow so you move and continue doing that until you are out of the obstruction like someoen already posted.

try lowering the graphic settings as low as they can go, it might let you load the game than without runtime error

OT: only thing she/he can do is hold up arrow and slowly move out of the glitch hopefully.

but that doesnt work sometimes, its hard to do it... many ppl got stucked when takla makan was opened, and they only can do one thing: report it to joymax and wait...

Correct, but I am offering a solution that is doable atm, contacting JM customer support is like trying to prove God exists, meaning its harder than hell, and nearly impossible to get a straight answer.

my friend in tibet experience that too.. he end up making a new char! he was 7x in that character. but i think hes in cave that time when he phantom walk to a wall and stucked. he get dc too when he log hes main char,but in 2nd char and the 3rd char is fine!

i tried that holding the arrow thing and it didnt work... i get dc way to fast to even move, and to try phantom out of there wont work either coz i just wanted to see would i get that ??? error if i pressed my middle button after i got dc and i did... i used to get that error a lot back in dw and since im in ht i only get it sometimes while i exit guild storage, so i guess that whole area has a bug or something... im just gonna have to bother dear joymax ppl to move my char somewhere else or if its possible to rollback it, there is no way i can fix it myself

If you can manage to get a pvp cape on, have a friend come kill you fast or somthing.
