Wasted 30million today!!

ok, is it true that some weapon u just can't do +5?? I wasted 30m today trying to +4 my sosun lvl24 glavie. It gone up to +3 and fail back to 0 many many times. It just can't pass +3. Is there any trick u guy want to share? i'm soo unlucky today and i'm poor now

Seems to me you've just got one of those unlucky weapons we all get from time to time, of course this could be a myth, but I doubt it. I've spent millions try to just +4 a weapon without result, yet with other weapons they've reached +5 easily.

Could be just pure luck or the weapon may have something to do with it, i'd say a mixture of both.

1) your lucky you have a sosun weapon. most players will never
get it.
2) you spent 18 mil on elixirs earlier today, posted it and heard
from forum members that it was bad luck and you shouldnt go
on with it
3) there are no tricks you shouldve listened. this it your own

Alchemy is a luxe item something you only should do when you can afford it.
It is like gambling you should learn when to stop or continue

dude after a while if you hit +3 it will hit +4/5 eventually might fail 3-4 times but if it hits +2 then +3 you can + it more most cursed gear fails on +1/2 several times iam speaking of experience not fact so this might be wrong so dont get all sandy about it

er... bad luck i guess but keep trying, dont get discouraged just because u wasted 30m, next time save a few pages walk around for a while then try it agian, idk it always helps me let go of teh failures

try placing it in storage for a few days, pull it out and elixir it right away, if it doesnt go after like 10 attempts, repeat...i have +4,+5,+6'd many items without using astrals, this is the best trick i could come up with, other than +5ing a brand new weapon from a drop

When a person Gamble they will reach a certain time when they will achieved a degree of satisfactory follows by a plausible result. in your case, +3 is the level of satisfaction. Why u wasted that 30mill is when dissatisfaction of failing to +4 or more your weapon, which brings to a repeatable / back to back [satisfaction + thirst for more/greed + failing] attempts.

You're not wasting money. Best advice is to get it to +3 and leave it if you are just doing it to resell. People are still going to pay the cost of a sun weapon & +++ won't increase the price any from 0-5. Once you get to +6/7 range & the astrals/immo come into play, you can justify selling for more b/c of the increased investment.

Some weapons are not as lucky as others. The weapon will eventually go to 5 (probability is always there) if you keep trying, but based on your recent findings, it's going to be a long, expensive fight.

i wouldnt even try to go past +3 because you have already spent 30 mil to get it there so the more you spend the more it comes out of your profit from selling it, unless it works.

lol what i do is i run outside hotan eg with the alchemy screen.
while running i press fuse.
i got my shield +5 in 1 go.
and my glavie to +4 :p

Im convinced theres like a preset invisible luck attribute to weapons, because i get weird instances where I will get a weapon to +3 with 3 elixers (actually that happened once my entire time playing silk) and sometimes, it fails like 5 or 6 times to get to +2 WITH lucky powder. I dunno, Alchemy is the devil!

the good news is...weapon that are stubborn going to +4 are easy to +5
Usually weapons will take~40-60mil(tops) to +5 (sos usually do)
The hardest weapon for me was my lvl 52 sos sword ...it ended up eating 210+weapon elixirs to +5.
Was it worth it? no
Was it fun? yes, kindda like gambling..you just can't stop.

FINALLY, i get it to +5 after 37m I added full blues and crt from 6-12 in one try. i've added astral and immotral already but holding back about going for +6+7. I don't care much about 37m cuz i still have 3x that amount. HEhe I may try to +6 today just for the thrill....my only regret is i could of give that gold to guildmates or friends
