Just a typical INT spear question

Post by hawt4life »

My build is currently Pure INT spear, and I'm thinking about getting a 4th mastery.

My masteries right are as follow:

-30 Fire
-30 Lightning
-20 Heuksal

And I'm level 30 at the moment. I was wondering if going Dual Weap would be wise choice, since Pure INT spear will probably die easy at later levels? And would it be much more expensive since I'd have to buy 2 sets of weapons? And longer to farm?
Any other suggestion is greatly appreciated.

I say add bicheon or wait until cap. Right now dual wep int is super cool :D, but when the cap is raised there will be many problems.

yeah true but with joymax speed on bringing out updates we still got a while before that time comes...
So i'm enjoying the dual int build now. and when the 90 cap comes... then i'll see what i have to delevel... it will cost me some money but hey untill that time i'm having the most fun and diverse build in the game.. imo

unless you will farm like crazy, id stick with 3 trees. otherwise
you will just get irritated by the fact that you cant keep your
skills on your level.

IF you'd take a 4th tree, then i would also take bicheon. not
only for the dual weapon, but also for the shield buff.

yeah 4 trees is farming like crazy.. but i don't mind. And yes shield def is one of the advantages of a dual build. Another is the high dmg of a spear.

[off topic] ej cin you are from the netherlands too :)[/offtopic]

str = strenght = the strenght points you can put in when you have gained a lvl (you have to press C there you can add them)
int=inteligence = the inteligence points ...etc
pure = when you have only put in a certain kind of points..
so pure int is only inteligence points same for pure str..only str points
dual weapon = when you fight with 2 kinds of weapon most common is bicheon and heuksal. One for more def and one for more dmg.
all that stuff = well... that's just too vage to discribe..:P

Leave your Heuksal at level 20.
I suggest you keep your fire and lightning and get the bicheon mastery leveled. No chains just knockdowns and stabs. If your a full pure int with fire imbue your should be able to kill people with just nukes and knockdown for defence.

Besides sword and shield is great for pvp. And spear for grinding ;).

About the crazy farming, now if I just add Bicheon for KD + Stab, would that require endless farming or just a bit more extra? And would I be able to keep it at my level or close to it?

I say just wait for the 90 cap... You might change your mind about Bicheon if you see the new heuksal skills.

Just go for 90/90/90 and keep 30 skill masteries...

That way with a possible 100 cap, you still don't have to lower some of the skills...

Grim are you saying that Bicheon will be horrible at 90 cap compared to Spear or that Spear will be horrible compared to bicheon at 90 cap?

To the original poster:
I assume when you say "Pure INT Spear will die easier at higher levels" you mean PvP?
If it worries you, leave heuksal at 20 or even 30, lvl up Bicheon 80, Lightning 80, Fire 80, and when it goes to 90 level up all 3 to 90!

I always thought Pure INT was made for group battles and PvE not so much PvP.

yeah true it's better in group battles.. but it does great in pvp too.. that's why i love this build.
