Blade cut/flying dragon vs lion shout/nuke **EDIT* Fire Wall

I had a discusion with a forum member in this topic:

and now i want to clear this up onces and for all.

blade cut series VS lion shout and flying dragon spear series vs Nuke
which does more dmg and is faster. And i'm talking about a int build here.

ow and another thing...sword dance for a pure int build what you think about that??

all give your opinion plz...I'll give mine later.. cause i don't want to affect anybody's opinion yet.. just wanna see what y'all think.

ok another skill .. might have to make a new topic for this. but hey.. i'll just try it here first...

Fire Wall series... i see some nukers in pvp video's use it. It usually get's one hit away by high lvl pure str.. but still pretty nice extra hp of 5k on the last book. And you don't even have to get that ice tree for it..

So tell me what you guys think about this skill too..

Imbue+shock lion will do more damage than imbue+soul cut

When I first got Flying Dragon it did more than my nukes, but that was because I wasn't imbuing when I cast my nukes. Nukes are stronger.

aint last book of soul doing 2 hit?

Yes, but the equivalent book of shout is stronger. Actually, it will be stronger by a much wider margin than the first books were since Soul Cut is still based on str/phys which is increasingly weaker than the int-based shout skills.

Edit: it's 2 hits but it's still just one attack. The damage is accordingly reduced for it to do an acceptable amount of damage per hit so that the two added together aren't overpowering.

Speed:
1)Lion
2)Blade (milisecs slower)
3)Dragon (Maybe half a second behind balde)
4)Nuke (Same time as a buff)

Dmg:
1)Nuke (Int builds trump card)
2)Dragon (Much weaker than nuke but more powerful than lion)
3)Lion
4)Blade

uve been asking for the sword dance thing... cant say woot dmg it does if u max it. well, i got both books @ lv1, and its quite cool for hunting lower morestars... i can easily 1hit a 60+ 3*spawn using it. damage isnt that great, but u can hit in a great range.

Not necessarily.

Notice that shock shout has 100% on all it's attacks. Devil cut blade has 95%, however it strikes twice, making it the equivalent of a 190% attack.
I do agree with you however, shock is stronger than soul. Only if you are pure int though, if you're hybrid, the better deal will be devil cut.
