Help With Bow Build

hi
i have character lvl 30
i have
physical balance 72%
magical balance 62%
i wear garment
i have 6 int and 2 str on the garment i wear
then i go to physical 73% and magical 70%

what i want is
what is better to do
i hope to get nukes not as main weapon just help in trade in killing some fast
is this good ? is there hope to go to int character now ?
i don't like pvp at all
is it better to go str ? or hyprid 70:70 ?
please some one help me with experience

You should be pure str. One reason is because bow doesn't get HP or Defence bonuses like hueskal and bicheon classes so you need all the str you can get. Another reason is that ints rely on nukes to do damage and you don't need nukes since you have a ranged weapon. Just go all str.

Fine, make your character all str from now on. Most people would have assumed that that was what I meant.

hyrbid is good, although i would not recommend the 70:70 build as u need health, and ur crit is needed to kill anyone

I have a 1:1 hybrid bow since lvl 37 and id have to say they rock. so dont assume they suck because joe shmoe said so. ever since then im now lvl 39 im putting all points into str like i planned. so there. 1:1 is good, pvm and ESPECIALLY unique hunting. Str hybrid bow is also good. you have to fool around with different hybrid ratios until you find one thats best but cant go wrong with any bow hybrid.

I'm curious: what is good about this build? I don't mean that in a mean way, I'm legitimately confused. Since it isn't pure str, you don't have the amazing crits that str bows have and you have less HP and defense. Yet since you're not pure int you won't do very much damage anyway. Is it just a grinding build that's meant for grinding on green monsters?

i tried pure str bow, & it can barely tank and say that the slower charge time of attks also cause ur char to be a sitting duck while glave/spear, blade/sword can stun, kb, kd u....so any other build other than pure str w/ bow will probably die faster even if their dmg is a little higher

Bow users are not supposed to stand in one position and fight, you have to ghost phantom and attack to try to get a good combo of crits, if not rinse and repeat lol

+1 and u dont need to tank 5 things at once in pvp cus most of the time its 1v1
@ threefingeredguy: i grind orange to red and its easy cus u stand still and practically kill somthin b4 it gets to u. very lil hp pots used

then u werent very good at it cus even up until a few lvls ago i could tank a pure str glavie by standing still and now with tactics (no i dont mean hiding in the safe zone) they hardly ever get me (only when they stun me a couple times in a row with crits) and nukers r even easier with one or 2 atks (3 atks with an sos shield right now)

my advice is unfortatly u can eaither go 2:1 str hybrid, full str all the way or start again.

Unfortunately, starting again will be best.
Don't worry, most people have alts that are your level, or even higher. It's not that hard.
+ this way, you can spend your sp perfectly. My guy's sp was spent terribly.
Start out lv 5 ice with imbue, then all fire and pacheon.
ice is best for grinding, but I'm switching over to fire because it requires less farming, looks cooler, and is supposedly better.

omg just add STR from now on and be a hybrid str.

its a very powerful bow build, its been proven here in the forums.
pure str is also powerful.

surely Pure str bow can be deadly as they look because of high damage and high hp +high critical rates

and following a guides is gay just do what u want, the game is better that way, i mean in the end its always the person thats higher lvl or has better eq and more int = more dmg = faster lvl

i did that already
i imagined that i'm in the game not my character
and did what i imagined that i want if i'm in the game
put all points for int
and decided to be int character with bow
i'm still lvl 12 now but i'm really happy with the character

Always when I see this kind of post saying "be pure on your bow, if you put 1 int restart again" I wonder if this people really try an hibrid bow or they read something and repeat it. You CAN do well as an hibrid, I kill str glaviers of my own level every day, the main problem is that the when high level players see my damage they think that Im high too so they star to kill me easily.

About lower damge crit I go for 8 to 10k on devil arrow crit against glaviers of my own level and 1 hit (more than 13k) on those 64 and 65 classic glavier with his sos glavie that think that now they will kill everyone so come to attack me (is really funny when they realized that even a full str 64+ CAN BE 1 HIT FOR SOMEONE 5 LEVELS HIGHER THAN THEM).

Yesterday I have 4 fights against glaviers (Im 70):

Glavier 69 dress in armor, he ask my level and when I told him he put his cape on and start to attack me. No chance for him because armor is my favorite clothes for my oppponents .


Next 3 fights against 71 glavier garment dress.
Those 3 fights were really really nice. On first one I had to phantom walk so many times that I found that we was on the middle of the earth ghost zone until finally I kill him when I get devil arrow + antidevil with crit on boths. 2th fight was similar to first one but finally he got the double crit on both hit of Soul Spear soul with stun on first one (I was dead before stun fade away). Last fight, again doing lots of phantom all over the place until I get a crit on devil arrow, follow for antidevil and again devil arrow both withou crit.


TIP for pvp: DONT SPAM YOUR KEYBOARD WITH SKILLS, if you spam you will realize that you cant use phantom when you need it and most of the glaviers just spam their best hits so they cant use phantom until they use their last spam button so they come running with their skill ready (thats the time you need to launch your stronger hit).

2th TIP: If you get a crit on devil arrow thats the moment to tank because he will not be able to pot quick this damage so you have to finish quickly. If by the moment of the next devil arrow is not dead Phantom again.
