Eh... I'm not really liking the color scheme. A lot of things just don't flow... and the bright white and red brusing that you did on top with the drop shadow takes away too much attention from what's behind it.

I didn't critique what's "outside the box" I gave you comments on what I saw in the picture I could careless for its meaning... xD

I think you guys are being a bit too harsh. Designwise, I think it's very appealing and the color scheme is okay, aside from the pink outerglow with noise on some of the stuff in the background.

However, you should also accept criticism without getting defensive--that's what a public forum is for. I think it's a nice Photoshop experiment, but not much more. It looks like a set of tutorials put together (layer styles, layer masks, vector tools, text).
