SRO under vista

Hi, guys my friend bought a new laptop andh egost vista he need to know how to run silkroad because its freeses every time he opens silkroad.. i alrdy read some threas about these but rlly cant find a solluton! plz if u help me do it with some screenies so i can know cos his comp is in spanish
so he need to know where is wat hhe needs to change ty

It has already been discussed before. Windows Vista does not support SRO

what i did to run it was right click the icon and go to compatibility and run in windows 98 mode and it worked fine for me

Runs slow for me on Vista. Also, whenever there are updates i gotta reinstall SRO. there's probably a way around it but im too lazy to look around ><

he tried that ru nas admin and make it the setup t owindows xp sp2 still get crashed at the characte select screen

Is it crashing when he clicks "Start" after choosing his character? I think that means he's using a modded client or something.

right mouse click on SRO exe, I made a shortcut, select Properties-Compatibility- Click on check box saying Run this program in compatibility mode for and select Windows XP Service Pack 2 and press Apply button.
